When I was a child, and a young adult I saw a lot of children at P J CHILDREN'S HOME. I would go over there and play and talk to the children. I would see them walked down to the bus stop.
Now I don't see any children anymore. I have business near there and have to drive by weekly. PJ's is a children's home in name only.

Took over 10 bags of toys and holiday decorations for the kids to the Counseling Center as instructed. No one was at the desk when I arrived at about 1: 30pm, guess they were busy having cake. The person who finally helped me would not help me with the bags nor could she find anyone to help me, Friday, I guess. Si she opened the back door for me to bring in the bags myself. I went to donate and left very disgruntled. Guess they are too good to help. Hopefully they treat the kids better.

It's all about the children! If you have a couple of extra hours they always need help with their ground keeping! This helps them save money on man hours.

I used to be in that home, I loved it so much, everybody treated me very nice and they were like my family.

This place was horrible, it's not what it seems and the staff have rotten hearts and souls, they lie and get away with treating innocent kids with unjust and unfair punishments. I was in a transitional program while I lived here. The program enabled me to take the city bus, get a job and have a cell phone. One day out of no where the case manager kicks me out of the program for no good reason, well I did threatened to call my case worker on her, since she wasn't doing her job correctly and she kicks me out of the program, which was the only reason I moved there. They were able to get away with throwing me into a treatment center for no reason, during the same time I had to take my ACTs and SATs, I was in that treatment center for about a month, just because I was homeless. They don't care about the kids, let alone their education, they screwed my while junior year up And consequently my senior year to. They used my past against me so they could cover their ass, how sick and disgusting. Staff also sold drugs and were sexually active with kids there on multiple occasions. The people they hire aren't even educated enough to be working with kids like us. They also open the kids mail and steal money and other things. To the kids who stayed here and weren't aware of their surounding like me probably had a different experience but it doesn't mean this place has a lot of work to do. I hope everyone involved in my situation from this awful place suffer as much pain and struggle they put me through and that karma comes your way in the biggest of ways. This place sucked and stole my stuff, my guitar, laptop, tablet, cloths, books and money. If this place ever gets shut down, I'd be happy.
