As an old two stepper and line dance instructor (Tush Push anyone?), this place is the Best place I’ve ever been to. Line Dancing is done right! Everybody faces the DJ booth to start. That’s for sure the right way!
Even though I enjoy my smokes as well, it’s nice to not have to gag on second hand smoke from 200 other smokers. It’s smoke free indoors but I understand there’s a place right outside to go get a puff in.
Though reminiscent of Gilleys in “Urban Cowboy, ” with the mechanical bull, and a larger Dance Floor, I didn’t see a “Punch Bag. ”
I noticed the Machismo is kept in check by a
“Well Noticed, ” and “Not Undercover, ” Security personnel.
The dance floor is really large and can accommodate a great variety of “Skill, ” levels.
I saw every level my first time out to this place. From nearly “Dancing with the Stars, ” level down to “Drunk enough to give a go. ”
Everybody looked to be having a good time!

Great atmosphere for learning how to two step or line dance. Very relaxed and a variety types of music played.

I was harrased and threatened by a group of people. But the staff doesn’t help me at all. They kick my out with them and then allowed a group of people to harass me outdoors.

At stampede the cost is 10.00 for girls and guys. Inside on the dance floor there is flashing lights (sometimes, but the majority time) and on the other side they have pool tables and the mechanical bull (if you use the bull they video it on a tv screen) and it’s more dim not flashing light which is great. The flashing lights on the dance floor get annoying. Its always full and people bump into each other bc there’s no room

I came in and I thought I would have a good time. But it was the opposite. I had a terrible time. Thank you for your horrible music, and lighting that is so lame, and also your dreadful security team. They do not protect their customers.

The music was great, I really liked the dance floor. The drinks were good also, unfortunately the mechanical bull was out of order.

Their security team kicked me out after they waited 10 minutes to kick out a drunk person that was harassing my friend. I confronted them about it and they kicked me out. I will never ever come back here again. The cop they hired was rude to me as well. They don’t protect people from getting harassed

The worst place that I have ever been to. They don’t respect women that are being harassed and they don’t protect them. So lady was getting assaulted and I told security to stop that and then they decided to kick me out! Ridiculous.

They eventually kicked her out, but that was after another 10 scenes of that drunk group trying to fight again.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a fun, safe environment.

Not my cup of tea. Too many rowdy people that cause unnecessary drama. Go to any other bar instead if you want a chill and casual time without drama from roust people. It might not be the management’s fault but they let anyone roudy in and they can do whatever they want.

There's a lot of dancing going on there but the older guys just take out the younger girls. If you're 40 and above forget about dancing. All these guys just want to dance with younger girls you're just gonna stand around and waste time.

Okay, it’s an absolutely beautiful venue. So much potential. Friendly staff. Whoever y’all had DJ Saturday Nov. 19. Turned down Guitars, Cadillacs and George Strait songs. Like I’m sorry, this is Texas right?

His words. “We don’t do that old stuff, we only do modern music”. His modern music for a Texas country dance hall was about 90% hip hop music.

Again. I thought I was in Texas. And I also thought it was a country dance hall.

Replace the DJ or Correct him and I’ll gladly remove this 1star review.

This place has become a trash hole. Missing the better days before management was changed.

I believe this venue started off as the best dancehall type nightclub in all of Texas, but apparently there has been a drastic change in the business operation philosophy. My husband and I have noticed the dance floor is not maintained properly and is somewhat hazardous. Additionally, the staff just are not as professional and friendly as they used to be. The atmosphere just does not have that positive energy we had come to know for the past 5 years.

This place is nice to hang out, cover is decent. Great music, pool tables, lots to do.
