Stanton's City Bites reviews
14In my top three best burgers in Houston! Great old times vibes in the building, super relaxed, with great burgers!
Great burger, Italian fries - mmm
Historic place & hostess maintains warm reception & service attitude!
The Chipotle burger was awesome! All burgers live up to their size and pictures, definitely top notch burgers in Houston and great price. Can't go wrong with Tater tots
Amazing burgers with perfectly cooked fries. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger.
Great burger and friendly service! Definitely coming back to try all the burgers! Recommend the chipotle burger
Stopped by for a burger on my way home from work. Great atmosphere & food was amazing! Definitely worth multiple visits!
First time here, so I went with the Original Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was good with fresh tasting toppings. The patty was thicc and juicy, but (personally) lacked slightly in flavor. However, the amazing delicious potato bun and the crispy bacon made up for it.
The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. But I got Cajun fries and the Cajun flavoring was a little light. I guess I expect Cajun fries to give me a little bit of a sweat, and these didn't do that. Still, they went great with the burger.
They have various beers and other bottled drinks. They also have the soda machine with all the customizable flavors.
Also tried the bread pudding and it was hot and delicious.
The burger was good but I couldn't eat it all because it was greasy making the bun soggy but the onion rings were most delicious. I would recommend maybe a roll of paper towels on every table. The staff was super friendly and upbeat which was very nice. The establishment was clean including restrooms and the ambiance was excellent for a place that started in 1961, vintage everywhere making for interesting conversation before our meal. The place was packed obviously a local legend.
First time eating here. Burger was very tasty as what's the grilled cheese. The onion rings were soggy and cold.
Great burger joint.
Contrary to another review, there are no vegan options unless you count fries
Pretty cool historic spot with so many delicious-sounding options. I dug in before even taking my first photo of my meal. I got the Blue Moon, which was their blue cheese burger. It was my first time eating a burger with blue cheese, and it was an interesting flavor combo. Fries were awesome, no complaints. I will come back and try something else on their menu. I’d love to try their lighter, healthier options next.
Maybe the best burger I’ve ever had. The place took me back to the late 70’s but I wasn’t there for the atmosphere, I was there for the burgers.
I liked the burger I ordered! It was my first time, so I decided to order the classic burger, and it was as good as I expected. I will definitely give this place another shot.
This place is great! My favorite burger is the Holy Cow. Onion rings are delicious. It’s the perfect size onion with just the right amount of batter. I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was a huge hit! My wedding party and out of town guests loved the burgers and mushroom burger too! Definitely recommend!
