Star ER, Lubbock TX

I love Star ER! They get you in and out in a timely manner while listening to you & your health concerns. They never make you feel like a burden and are always so compassionate.

It was so clean in here with the shortest wait ever. My daughter was here for an injury so I didn't want to leave with more issues (germs) than we came in with. The staff was amazing with her, from the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I took my son in and was turned away due to no money on hand. We asked to be billed and was told sorry the doctor will not see you. Our first thought when we rushed over wasn't grab some money to pay for help. And then we we're given a discharge paper that shows the doctor diagnosed him with gastroenteritis seriously you didn't even want to treat him and that's not what his cheif complaint was, he couldn't breathe he had flu symptoms and felt like he was going to faint blurred vision chest tightness. I hope they don't try and bill us cause your independent owned company that refuses patient care is a joke and rude staff. God forbid someone dies and you just stand there and watch them die cause they don't have money with them.

I had a serious nose bleed (I'm on a blood thinner) but they had it stopped in 10 min. Everyone there were very professional.

My second time to visit Star ER and both times the staff treated me with friendly, prompt and professional service. Felt extremely comfortable and at ease under their care. I would highly recommend Star ER for all of your emergency needs. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful. I was in, the staff were polite and professional. Did not take me long to get through it all. I definitely found my overnight ER should things happen.

Went in for foot pain after a car wreck.
I was unable to put pressure on my right foot.

Both the nurse & doctor tried to be police by trying to get details of the wreck & not my injury. Neither should be dealing with people imo.
I gave the nurse the police report # & told the doctor to refer to that as I'd already spoken with the actual police.
I won't speak on how rude & terribly the doctor treated me or how short his "consultation" with me was.
Doctor gave me Tylenol & wouldn't/ didn't give me crutches or a boot or even offer a wheelchair.

I should've just went to Walgreens & treated it myself.

This place is awsum nd the caregivers that attended me are even more awsum! I was so scared nd they made me feel like everything was gonna be ok! I'm very grateful to all who attended me! May God bless u all always!

I was there the other day for a fractured knee. The doctor was informative but a bit too arrogant for my tastes and subtly insulted my weight while subtly rolling his eyes. Thankfully the K. Lowry paramedic made up for it. If you go in, try to avoid this same Italian-appearing doctor with dark curly hair & glasses, approximately 59 years old. Stick with any other doctor and K. L.and you'll leave feeling better instead of insulted.

Had a great experience and was in and out really quick. Would recommend to anyone needing medical attention.

What an amazing place! My husband was very sick, almost septic from a previous procedure. We had no idea what was wrong. The staff that night took extremely good care of him and we were very appreciative.

This was the second ER we visited after being basically thrown out on our ear at the first place. The doctors and staff listened to our concerns and treated us like actual patients instead of livestock. They took the time to do their due diligence and alleviate our concerns about what we were experiencing at the time.
