Station Houston

A place for the meeting of innovative and entrepreneurial minds. I enjoyed my visit and will return.

Simple put: The STATION Team has failed to successfully show that they care about their general members.

Initially I started off as a Revolving member but after my membership requirements changed and I needed to leave my items there regularly, I spoke with a Team Member that was happy to help. I was informed that if I upgraded my membership and paid for a desk then I could leave my items around. I was informed about the security cameras that were placed around and one was in the direction of my desk.

Recently my MacBook pro went missing and I verified that it last synced at the office while I was away. After contacting a STATION Team member I found out that their cameras were no longer active since they took them down during remodeling. Turns out the renovations had been complete for several months before the first incident. Unfortunately, the STATION Team chose not to take proactive action and reconnect the cameras and over the upcoming week, other members items came up missing.

The STATION Team would regularly not respond request about info relating to the issues and often required people to find them in person. Many members have had the same issues with the STATION Team relating to the theft incidents.

On top of that, a new accelerator moved in out of nowhere, and several STATION Members had their "permanent" desk re-assigned without fair warning.

It has been a fair amount of time that the STATION Team was supposed to contact building security and give a response about the footage related to the incident but have failed.

Many current members have become disappointed as well as previous Team Members.

Please factor this into consideration if you plan on looking at a membership.

The staff as well as the many start ups involved with station Houston are very informative and welcoming. Joining has been the best thing to happen to our company.

Came down here for the Houston Data Science meetup - really nice environment for startups to work. Great views of Houston from the top floor. Parking turned out to be expensive though - 8 bucks or so for a 2 hour stint.

This is definitely the place to be to stay on top of the latest trends when it comes to start ups. Station Houston hosts regular events to help founders and entrepreneurs stay competitive.

Station has been an excellent resource for me this year. There are lots of people dedicating their time to cool ideas, like helping people raise money for a cause during a restaurant's down time, for example. I like coming here, checking in on colleagues and collaborators, and doing a brain dump on a whiteboard with incredible views of the city. The people that work here are big-hearted and care a lot about creating a good environment.

I wish more white boards were available outside the meeting rooms, which have to be booked at a cost. Subjectively, I prefer to work more in a warmer home-like environment than a colder corporate office-y place like this, or else I would be here way more.

Houston innovation has a nexus. Station Houston is the best platform for learning about Houston entrepreneurs and the future of our city. People from all walks of life share this space under one shared vision. Build your moonshot, here.

Awesome startup incubator and work share space in the heart of downtown Houston. Park in the Green Street garage and there's partial reimbursement for parking. WiFi is a little slow, but it given the number of people it's supporting, it functions well.

Houston Texas should support and retain technology companies. The 4th Industrial Revolution is upon us. Station Houston is pioneering this fostering of experienced industry mentors with the next generation of creators. I applaud what Station Houston is doing.

I can't say enough about how great Station Houston is. Great people, great working space, great events. Most important of all, great resources for startups.

Friendly staff runs the place, they are interested in people's success so they help to provide excellent programming, space is great and relaxing to work in with nice views of the city
