Steak 'n Shake, Midland TX

Worst "fast food" place around here! Nobody in line yet you wait for 15mns to order and wait another 30 mns for one burger and fries! How is this place still open? Horrible customer service!

Decent food. Overpriced a tad. Last two times I went through drive through no one was home. Both times around 2: 00pm. Pulled up each time to window and employees walked into other areas where I could no longer see them. Won’t be going back here again.

To the guy in the Spiderman costume that took my order today, here's a tip.

When a customer walks in and says "hello sir how are you" don't just stare at him and say nothing.try saying hello back at least. Wouldn't kill you to just be friendly to people for once, especially when there being friendly and respectful to you in the first place.

Tried the drive threw and the lady told me I had to walk inside and order because the drive threw was closed. I was the only customer. One star for laziness

Night manager was friendly and helpful. The Cajun fries were really good. The restaurant was clean. My girlfriend had the Frisco Melt and it was really good. I had the original steak burger and the bun was soggy and the pickles were limp and slimy:/ I wouldn’t recommend the original steak burger but everything else was good.

Typically decent service and good food. Today however we got none of that. I order 3 #7s (2 plain and dry, 1 no onions) and a #8. All 4 with Cajun fries. We got none of it. When I asked why the fries were plain the drive thru girl gave me attitude and said it's because they're slammed. Not a single burger is done correctly and I don't even have a bacon burger at all. I don't care if you're slammed. Make me pull aside or make me wait, that's fine. As long as my order is correct. Guess I'll have to go inside to get my order correctly next time. Sad

Small, cold, old, terrible. Fries were soggy and unfresh and the burger was tiny with overcooked Cole meat. Disappointed becasue the one in Fort worth was really good.

I went to eat here today and left hungry and disappointed. I ordered a burger and I got something they called a burger that was no bigger than a sausage biscuit. The first time I ate here the burgers were big. It not anymore. I would much rather eat at Mc Donald’s where the burgers are bigger and cheaper. This place needs to stop ripping off the customers who pay good money for these miniature burgers. If your going to make the burgers that small at least give people half off. I won’t be returning to this place.

Horrible. Infested with flies. 100s of them and I mean 100s. After I fought off the flies for 25 minutes I finally received my order. Ordered a triple meat and they gave me single meat. Didn't really matter on the burger because I was so disgusted with all the flies I wasn't about to eat that burger. No telling how many flies got cooked with it. I'm completely disgusted with that place. I'll never eat there again.

This is a steak and shake "express" which means most of the specialty burgers you like are not on the menu.

That's being said, the staff is usually pretty friendly and they do a good job keeping it clean. Wait time is never too awful and I've never had them mess up an order.

Worst restaurant in town staff could couldnt careless if they had a job never know if its open or if they just dont wanna take your order went there 3 x in 1 week an couldnt get anyone to take my order an when they do you can guarantee atleast a 45 min wait if it wasnt the only restaurant close enough to my job for me to make it in my lunch time i wouldnt even waste my time but just my opinion

Food was disappointing. The single patty burger hardly had any meat.

While I was there I overheard two orders that were wrong. The plexiglass and mask seemed to cause the miscommunication.

Horrible food and customer service if it wasn't for it being the inky option for truck drivers it would have already closed

It was great! First time going and I will be going back! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE their pickles in their burgers! I love pickle spears! Ugh I can't get over it! First time ever having a milkshake and I will be getting another one! I would show yall a pic but. I ate it!

Sure wish this place was open. Says 24/7 but I’ve tried to go twice in the past week and they closed for whatever reason

I've visited many of these locations.shakes are the best chocolate is my favorite.very impressed with this location.very clean neat

Steak burgers are pretty good. They once had a peppercorn steak burger that was a favorite. Their fries are plenty and great with ketchup. The dining area could’ve been cleaned more often. Multiple tables were left unkept.
