4New playset is great. Lots of swings. Has some music things beside the playearea. Huge open fields to play sports.
I love the location and all the trees just not a big fan of all the older kids rough housing when littles are playing
Really nice park in a safe neighborhood. Great for a walk, birthday party, afternoon with the family, and bigger events
This used to be an AMAZING playground. It had two great jungle gyms with lots of monkey bars and swings, etc. It was a great skill building playground with challenges and levels for all kids from babies to big kids.
The city gutted it in their "upgrade". Now there's one lame jungle gym that the kids don't even like, with a rope walk that is a total fall hazard. The 6 big kid swings and 2 baby swings have shrunk to 1 glide swing and two big kid swings. And the merry-go-round got replaced with a circle that the kids just lay on.
All the things that required strength, etc are gone. My kids worked SO hard to be able to do monkey bars last year! The upper body strength, core strength, and leg endurance that they used to have to put out at the playground - gone.
I HATE going here now. It's such a shame - in a time of overwhelming childhood obesity - this playground won't do a thing to help kids grow up healthy.
