For the first time in over 20 years, I feel great. Dr. Usala is the first physician to look at my overall health picture, monitor my thyroid meticulously, diagnose my Graves Disease and provide the treatment that has FINALLY regulated my thyroid. His compassion and determination also helped me start Tepezza infusions to combat my thyroid eye disease. He is so kind, and explains everything in great detail and in a way I can understand what is going on. I am a different person today because of his fine care! The office staff is very nice and extremely efficient. The nursing staff is also wonderful-always positive and encouraging!

I began seeing Dr. Usala for adrenal insufficiency after a TBI. This gentleman takes his time with you, goes over every single component of your visit, and is one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever been in contact within my life. After listening to my symptoms the first time, he set up a Cortrosyn simulation test and had me correctly diagnosed within a week. Since then he has followed me and has been at my every call and need to continue to see me through episodes that have come up. There is not a more intelligent endocrinologist available with better bedside manner than Dr. Usala. I am honored that he is mine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Usala for over 10 years. I came to him with hyperthroidism/Grave's Disease, and saw him for many years until I went into remission in 2019. I was told to let them know if I needed prescriptions or started seeing any symptoms return. I just called Dr. Usala's office for a refill for something I don't take that often. Found out he moved, got his new number, called there, was instructed to call the Pharmacy to have them request the refill. It's been a couple of years, so the Pharmacy had deleted the prescription. Called Dr. Usala's office back to see if he could do a refill. They said they couldn't. That they had no record of me as a patient. I told them I'd been a patient for several years. I asked what was I supposed to do. They suggested I see my primary care physician, and get a REFERRAL. So that's how you treat a patient that you have seen for YEARS! First you don't even let them know you've moved, then you basically tell me I have to start the whole process all over? !? !?

Mr. Usala and his nursing staff have helped me guide my 9.2 A1C down to an even 7.00 within less of a year. His aid in helping my diabetes management is wonderful.

This doctor really cares. He actually looks into your eyes when you're talking to him.

Dr. Usala is the best! When I started going to him I was sick every day when I would wake up, my blood sugar was very high also, he taught me how to eat right and how to manage my sugar and he worked on my being sick every day. Now my sugar is under control and I'm not sick anymore (it wasn't my sugar making me sick) he is very nice and takes the time to talk to you not at you. His staff is some of the nicest people around. I would highly recommend dr usala. I can't say enough good things about this dr.
