7We just discovered this walking path. It's has Lewisville Lake on side and homes on the other side.
Nice view of Lake Lewisville. Kinda wish there are night lights around the trail
Great views of the lake, lots of wildlife, people on the trail are really nice.
This free parking is situated right outside of the Stewart Creek Park. There is an entrance free for each car for the park and this parking spot avoid that. When I has see it last time there were only daily fee and a different price for Colony $10 and outside visitor’s $20 for car. If you are visiting the park for an hour or so or preferably walking around you can chose this parking. You can reach the park in less than 2 min and can access the walking and cycling trail.
This parking has a quick bike repairing station and bike air pumps (manual). I’ll upload a picture for that.
The greenway is excellent and breeze is perfect for summer walk on the trails right next to the lake. Crowed is very minimum in trail.
I Really enjoyed my visit there yesterday. It was a nice walk. I plan on going back in the near future.no issues with being able to access the property
A very small parking lot to be honest, and the gate gets closed at night with no warning, so make sure you get out in time or you're car will be trapped all night.
