Stone Systems of Central Texas, Austin TX

Purchased a small, about 4ft, counter totaling $832.21 via Home depot, cost was $100 less than if I had gone through a more professional dedicated counter top store. I wish I had paid the $100 difference, and had known this was the company Homedepot uses. I expected more from a large brand. Stone Systems doesn't let you have any input at all on where the piece is cut from the larger piece. Not even a generality like, 'please stay away from that edge. " I called and begged to not use a certain area of the entire slap. I was "reassured" they were experts and pay attention to what product they are sending out. I only ordered a small piece, and of course what arrived at my house was the area with a yellow linear stain smack dab in the middle of my counter! Very displeased, not worth the marginal discount. Will never use Home Depot Special services or Stone Systems. I basically paid full price for a slab that should have been discounted due to staining. Unfortunately the picture is not reflecting the how much the yellow pops out: Images of the stain, and the huge slab they could have cut anywhere else from. Awaiting to hear back from anyone. Sad I have to deal with this now, and couldn't just have a small piece of good granite arrive at my house.
