Stonehouse Villa, Driftwood TX

We chose Stonehouse Villa because it's beautiful and nestled between all the wineries, distilleries, and breweries in Driftwood. It's classic and modern all at once, and was the perfect distance from home (Round Rock) for us to consider it for our venue.

In the end, it was idyllic.

The fields are rolling and scattered with cows grazing, the grounds are meticulously maintained and vibrant, and the buildings are comfortable, beautiful, and spacious.

Our event was ~140 people and we were all comfortable, even with a sizable dance floor in their main reception hall. While we had a smaller wedding party, we were also all very comfortable in their readying rooms in the oldest building on the premises.

Beyond this, Kim was easy to work with and offered very clear and concise communications. She and her team were also very patient with questions, changes to the plans, and flexible about rehearsal and the like, which really made all the difference.

All in all, it was our perfect wedding and that's largely due to Stonehouse Villa's look, feel, and space and their staff's customer services skills.

The venue is stunningly beautiful. Our guests loved the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and we were able to save $$ on decor because the venue was so well decorated as is. Kim and Gabby are the absolute best venue managers ever. They are both extremely kind, professional, and helpful. They answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. While there are plenty of gorgeous venues out in Hill Country, very few are as well organized and high quality as Stonehouse Villa. I would 100% choose this venue again and recommend it to anyone!

Super nice and modern wedding venue. I was fortunate enough to fill in as a videographer here last minute when I was in town, the service and food were great! It's a pretty area with lots of greenery around. The covered patio is a nice touch too for those times that rain wants to sneak in. This place has decent space for smaller weddings. If you have several hundred guests I don't know if it would be so spacious but for a hundred or so it seems to be adequate. I hope I get to film another wedding here again! If I do I hope the bride doesn't get too drunk (like she did when I went) so I can get some cool looking night shots

My husband an I recently got married at Stonehouse Villa and I could not recommend this venue more. This place is absoultely gorgeous and the staff is amazing. They made sure our day ran smoothly and were super attentive to our needs. Our family and friends could not stop complimenting not only the venue but how seamless everything transitioned. I could not be more happy with our choice to celebrate our special day here!

Stonehouse Villa was the most amazing venue for our wedding! We were married there on 09/30/22; it was perfect:) Kimberly was wonderful to work with for the tour and booking. We also chose their wedding coordinator Samantha Conley with Stonehouse Villa and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her service and professionalism! Samantha took over for us the month-of, which made our lives so much easier. On the day-of she and her assistant Gabby made us and our wedding party feel so special. It's ao beautiful! My friends got married there recently. One thing to keep in mind ladies is that the back deck is in no way heel friendly. My heels got stuck in between the cracks so many times. I'm surprised more disasters didn't happen that day. I'm so glad I brought a change of shoes

Incredible venue, thoughtful staff, stunning views! From the time we walked in the door the first time to see the venue, we couldn't stop thinking about having our wedding here. The venue itself has so many different spaces to help make your day just as you envisioned. The getting ready spaces are perfect. Our wedding was perfect and I am so grateful to have been able to work with Kim. I could not recommend Stonehouse Villa more highly and hope anyone who books here has as amazing an experience as we did!

My husband and I recently tied the knot at Stonehouse Villa in October ‘22 and let me start by saying how magical and seamless of a day it was thanks to our in-house coordinator, Samantha, and the venue manager, Kim. They’re both so knowledgeable, professional and provided guidance from initial interest to our big day. This gem of a venue and the level of customer service exceeded any expectations we had. Stonehouse Villa is a dream venue. Their team is fabulous to work with! A huge shout out to Samantha. From their gorgeous scenery to the beautiful building, this is a perfect spot to say I do! We loved everything about Stonehouse Villa! It was incredibly beautiful and the staff was so friendly to work with. They were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Kim especially went above and beyond for us. About 45 minutes before our ceremony (which was at a church 30 minutes away), we realized we forgot my veil at the venue. We wouldn't have had time to make it there and back, so Kim immediately drove it down to us. We were so grateful and we loved having our wedding reception at Stonehouse!

Wonderful place for reunion or party's. This place is excellent, the owners are very pleasant and really take care of you.

One of the ladies who works at this venue, larger woman with long black hair, is a genuinely awful person. She called my mom a “Karen” when the water tasted awful during the wedding of my brother and his now wife and she didn’t want the guests to have to drink it. She bullied me and my two year old son multiple times and none of the staff were friendly at all. My new SIL told me that the coordinator had told her nobody would be at the picture spot during the photographs (she has social anxiety) and all the guests were crowded in there with no warning for her. I wouldn’t recommend these people, they’re genuinely awful.

Kim, the Venue Manager, was absolutely amazing to work with. She's cool as a cucumber, so detail oriented and punctual on all her responses to us. She was always smiling and so very helpful. She made sure everything was set for our day and I can't thank her enough for allowing us to have our wedding at her gorgeous venue. Our guests kept raving about how beautiful everything was and I can't recommend Kim and the venue enough. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day unforgettable.

Amazing Venue for the best day of your life! Has many different areas that breaks up the evening experience for your guest. Scenery is gorgeous so all outside photos come out great and the ambiance inside is beautiful as well. Perfect combo of modern, chic, country vibe. Samantha the venue coordinator and Kim the Venue Manager are both extremely helpful in making your dream day come true!

Very beautiful venue! Perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space! We had our ceremony outside, used the foyer/tent area for happy hour, and held the dinner/reception indoors! Stonehouse Villa is so gorgeous you do not need to spend a lot on decor because it is great as is! Our wedding coordinator, Samantha, was amazing at handling all the details and making sure we were on time for everything! Highly recommend this venue and Samantha! 10/10

My Fiancé and I thought this venue was gorgeous. The Texas hill country views were hard to beat and the staff seemed to be very skilled and friendly. We ended up at a different venue but highly recommend checking this one out!

We had a terrible time with this venue. We had paid in full to have a wedding on April 18,2020. Unfortunately due to Covid, the venue cancelled our wedding and when we tried to get a refund, they refused. The owner was very rude and stopped returning phone calls and emails. Very unprofessional. I would be very leary to sign a contract with this venue.

Stonehouse Villa (SHV) was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. We wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony space in the Texas hill country, a spacious reception hall, and great backup options for rain plans that didn’t feel like a compromise. SHV was all of that and more. The entire property is gorgeous and beautifully decorated - we didn’t feel like we needed to add anything other than florals for it to fit our vision perfectly. Kim was excellent to work with throughout the booking process. She was kind, professional, and very helpful. SHV’s resources for recommended vendors were excellent - nearly everyone we booked was someone they recommended (all of which were fantastic). We added on the coordination package, and Samantha was great to work with. She was prompt, kind, and flexible. She would send periodic reminder emails for milestones leading up to our wedding (even things like getting our marriage license and sending out invitations). We had originally planned for a 150-person wedding in May 2020, but the pandemic had other plans. Samantha contacted us in March, offering us a one-time opportunity to move our date to later in the year. We moved to October, and as the pandemic went on, we realized October wouldn’t be “back to normal” as we had hoped. We asked if there could be another opportunity to push back to 2021, and there was not without forfeiting our entire payment. That being said, we understand why SHV couldn’t accommodate moving a year’s worth of weddings into the next calendar year. Samantha offered us several options about how we could re-envision the wedding, and we felt most comfortable with an entirely outdoor, 20-person celebration. Despite these complications, Samantha remained a great source of help. She was a great advisor during our final walkthrough, taking fully into consideration our concerns about safety. Finally, and most importantly, Samantha made the wedding day go off without a hitch - she took over all communication with our vendors leading up to the wedding, and we didn’t have to do anything on the day of. Everyone knew what they needed to do and where they needed to be the whole day. The pandemic truly threw our plans for a loop, but our wedding ended up being so wonderful, largely in part thanks to how great SHV and Samantha were. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special.

Me and my wife had our wedding reception here and cannot express how amazing of an experience we had with Stonehouse Villa. Kim and the team at Stonehouse Villa were very accommodating and responded to us very quickly with great professionalism. The venue is amazing with beautiful hill country views and is the perfect place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. We loved all of the different rooms and spaces that we were able to utilize and everything was extremely well decorated. We had many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was. We cannot recommend Stonehouse Villa high enough, you will be very pleased if you have your wedding or event here!
