I went to chank the storage for a bigger one did not even use the smaller one and they still did not give me a refund, that was like throwing away my money!

Nice, clean facility. Don't like that I'm not at their home facility rather one down the street. That puts it father from my home. Also don't care that we cannot leave a door open while unloading a U-Haul truck, as it would trigger an alarm. There should be an option for disarming this for periods of time to load/unload.

I received a call from Storage King after returning from a family cruise about my balance due. Because it was an account set up by me, Mrs. Leonard in my husband's name, Rodney for our college Son, Khalen who was not currently enrolled at Kingsville during the Summer Session II. (only for Summer Session I). I reminded the representative that I would be making that payment shortly online and that Khalen would still be returning to campus to remove his belongings by August 5th in time to move out, as agreed, wanted to know if cash was an option to pay off the balance for the proration. I was abruptly informed that "they don't prorate". Excuse me? I personally chose this storage only because of the proration option, whereas other storages that I called said flat out that they do not prorate. I didn't get agitated until she began reading "the dreaded script" and referring to me as "ma'am" and referring me to "the contract" that was read to me. Side note: I'm so tired of people trying to get over on "good people" like me and then transitioning into becoming the "trained robot" reader when the conversation gets sticky and not as rehearsed. I'm extremely aware of Policy because I've lived and breathed "the policy" my entire career. I advised her that I would kindly like it if she would "listen" to what I was saying and stop referring to what she has been programmed to say.eventually, she referred to my account closer and recognized that within the creation of this account where in fact, no one from the site referenced what she claimed was read "to me" but "should have" been and also informed me that IN FACT, my account was established online with outside sourcing for their company (which is no fault of mine). (These are the people that answer the calls from everywhere in the world and route you to the closest location (which I had to redirect them several times to Kingsville storage because my call was routed to Conroe where we reside.) They too should be trained not to lie to "make a sale. "
In retrospect, I should not be charged for the entire month of August when my son will not be utilizing the storage past August 5th. I was misled, and that is not my fault. I would urge someone who is NOT reading a script or a programmed Robot working from Storage King to call me: this is a 10-year Air Force Veteran/15 Year High School teacher who is currently enrolled in a Doctoral of Business Degree plan, but most importantly, this is a human being that was lied to. I am willing to talk to a professional with answers, not a "ma'am monster who hides behind the word policy.

We just dropped off some packages and we were in need of packaging. Shelby was AWESOME and very helpful! Storage King has always been a Great Place to send packages and for storage!
