Recently my portal was having some issues as I was trying to renew my lease, Tiffany from the front office was the absolute BEST in helping me fix the issues and get it all resolved, i can’t thank her enough for making this whole process so easy. I’ve really enjoyed staying at the strand apartments

I’ve rented at 4 other complexes and this has to be, by far, the best. I have always been treated with respect and quick attention. The property is always clean and taken care of. It feels like a resort. My kids love the pool and the playground. The basketball court is my favorite, especially when it’s time to decompress. Because of this, when the time came, I renewed my lease without hesitation. Not going anywhere else!

The new leasing manager Laci is a sweetheart. She is very knowledgeable of her position. Laci answered all my questions and concerns in a professional manner. Thank you Laci!

The current property manager goes above and beyond to ensure everything is taking care of ima timely manner! Amenities are top notch and the apartments themselves are definitely better than what currently on the market! I haven’t had any issues with this communities or staff and truly look forward to staying here for years to come! Thank you so much

The front desk, Delaci she is so wonderful very sweet and professional she was so patient with me being unorganized when i came in lol but she took her time and explained everything very well so polite thank you The Strand Apartments really have a good employee thank you again Delaci

I absolutely love the strands staff. They were very friendly. I think her name was Delaci she showed me a property and answered all my questions, made my kids feel very welcomed even though they were running wild. That was a great experience and I’m definitely looking forward to staying on the property.

We stopped by for food truck night and had a great time. The office girls were so fun and inviting us to come and lease whenever we were ready. Everything looked very inviting and we will definitely be back and telling our friends. Thank you Tiffany and Lacy see you guys soon we hope

Went to go check out the apartment's that i had a tour appointment for when i went the lady was eating with a guy a friend i guess i told her what i was there for.she was rude just told she just told me they didn't have any viewings & they don't have anything available.then procced to ask my husbands name in a rude way like who's that? Idk needs new management if u ask me.would still like to see them but idk.

I’ve been here for 2 years now and just moved to a different unit. If that doesn’t say how i feel about being here, then i don’t know what will. During the whole process, Laci and Tiffany made the whole process seamless for me and as stress-free as possible and i can’t thank them enough for it. I like being here and happy those two took care of me!

TLDR: My favorite thing about living here is the typically empty gym and how close it is to the university in San Marcos. Do yourself a favor - move to the other side of the highway because I hear The Aidan is even worse.

Overall, I've been very disappointed at The Strand. I do not feel that the quality of my apartment/the property/matches experience matches the $1800 we pay in rent for our 2bd2bath. Last week marked our year anniversary here, and we are counting the days until our 15 month lease ends. The property has been going through many changes in management since we arrived; we believe this correlates directly with the quality of service.

When I moved back to this area after being in high-traffic areas of Austin for a few years, I had expectations of reasonable rent prices, efficient commutes and a quiet gated community. All I've been able to bank on is the shorter work commute. The two stars are for the lovely Sophia in the leasing center, who does her absolute best despite the unfair load she handles.

Unlike their website says, The Strand's maintenance services are NOT 24hrs currently, and they do not have consistent workers on the property (we were told workers live an hour away from the site and that they are different each time). If workers come out to the property, there is no guarantee that your existing orders will be fulfilled. For this reason, it has taken weeks for our work orders to go through for our leaking A/C unit, garbage disposal issues, simple changes to light fixtures and more. When I asked the leasing center staff about being reimbursed by the property manager for hiring a contractor myself, they refused.

There were months during the summer that the pool was green as a leaf due to filter issues. There's a $99 mandatory cable fee in your rent - they have a partnership with Spectrum that allows for "free" cable. If you're a fan of streaming services and haven't watched cable television in years, it will feel like a waste of money (it'd be better to offer Netflix, Hulu or HBO). The grounds on this property are NOT maintained, with the occasional dead carrion, trash frequently overflowing and bird feces everywhere in the stairwell (power-washing?). The exit gate is constantly wrecked or vandalized, making it pointless to live in a gated complex. The property is older and recently underwent 'renovations' in the form of a fresh coat of already chipping paint - now projected rent for renewal is 2K. Laughable.
