Strickland's Martial Arts, Flower Mound TX

It’s been over one year since my current five y/o daughter started at Strickland’s Martial Arts. I can honestly say she is not the easiest child to work with, but with a high degree of professionalism, amongst all the instructors, and a lot of patience (on their part) she has found a home.

This is a great place! My kids love all of the different martial arts that are offered. The instructors really are knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend this karate and taekwondo studio for people of any age.

My girls love coming to Strickland's! They enjoy the challenge and the sense of accomplishment in earning different belt levels. The team is very experienced and make learning fun! I highly recommend!

We have been coming to this studio for ~5 months and we absolutely love it. Their curriculum is very well rounded, as it includes a mixture of martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Muy Thai, and other styles. We think that is very beneficial as our children are getting more out of it than the average studio would offer! The owner is very friendly and greets the parents daily. You can tell he is a people person and loves to interact with the parents, and even goes in to assist the instructors and teach the kiddos. The instructors are all very welcoming and patient with the kids. As we all know, kids (especially the little Tiny Tigers) can be a little moody or disruptive. The teachers never once lost patience and never gave up on trying to include everyone. My younger child attends the Tiny Tigers classes and we have noticed a great improvement in his listening skills and respectfulness at home in just a short amount of time. My older child attends the Juniors classes and absolutely loves it. She enjoys the routine, exercise, and the friendships she has made in class. She looks forward to her classes weekly and even has asked to come on days we don’t normally come. I feel like we have made the right choice by choosing Strickland’s! Highly recommend!

Strickland Martial Arts has been amazing for my son. He has increased in confidence and concentration in class and in life. He stands up for himself better than he used to. The culture here creates a space where mistakes are for learning, and good humor is the general rule.

Fantastic school. The instructors really care about their students. They teach them not only how to protect themselves but also help increase their confidence, focus, and perseverance to work through challenging tasks.

Fantastic program and martial arts trainer center. Master Strickland is amazing with kids as well as with adults. I have known him for over 10 years and I highly recommend this program. Especially for kids new to martial arts!

My boys have grown so
much not only in their techniques but also their character. All the instructors are so good working with the kids and the others students also work with the new students at their level while helping them grow.

We absolutely love Strickland's Martial Arts! My son has ADHD and we have seen so many incredible benefits from him starting at the school. Mr. Strickland is so caring for all the kids, the instructors are awesome and it's like a big family! Highly recommend!

I have nothing but good things to say about Strickland's, its instructors, classes, and community. The instructors are extremely kind and supportive to each individual student while still pushing them to gain skills and confidence every day. The community is, as a result, almost as nurturing as the instructors. Parents cheer other's kids on, and the kids are made to feel like they are a valuable part of a village. My kids love it. Both my kids have repeatedly said how much fun the instructors make class. I’ve watched and seen my kids develop the perfect balance of fun, learning, and discipline. Martial arts have been a big part of my life and my family has been involved with several schools over the years. Strickland’s Martial Arts is a world class operation. George has assembled a great team of instructors who teach proper technique, encourage students, and create a positive environment. We enrolled our son over a year ago and the improvement in his motor coordination, focus, and self confidence is remarkable. I drive past 4 competing schools to attend this one and it’s worth every mile.

We love this place! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing George and his staff are with kids. This is a fun and safe environment for all kiddos, highly recommend!
