Let me start off by saying my family is very pleased with Dr Rosenblatt. We have been seeing Dr Rosenblatt since 2013. We followed him from Austin to cedar park location back to Austin. He’s always been very caring and informative. Runs the proper test/labs and never fails to go the extra mile for your kids health. He’s a Dr is who going to tell you how it is and not going to sugar coat anything especially when it comes to your child health. I really enjoyed having him as my kids DR over the years. Now the office staff is the problem. Nobody ever answers the phone or returns calls. It’s very hard to schedule an appointment. Even if the office re schedule for whatever reason per their cancellation email they state “ Our office will contact you to reschedule it, or you can visit the Patient Portal to request a new time. ” the thing is their office NEVER will contact you to reschedule. When we reach out to them you either can leave a VM which won’t get returned or if someone does happen to answer the phone which is once in a blue moon you’ll get a appointment for 2+ months after your initial appointment.

Today I went to the office to try and switch one of my kids appointments which one is in august with an appointment for today. Two different kids. I’ve been calling since Wednesday. No luck. Started calling today at 8am. Still no luck. So I went up there. The lady at the front had to ask the nurse if that was okay if she can switch two of my kid’s appointments and the nurse said no due to records having to be pulled 24hr in advance. Which I’ve been calling even showed proof of and the lady at front simple said her phone hasn’t rang and they open at 8. All this I know but once you call the main line at press 3 for Dr Rosenblatt office Where does the call go from there? If you Apparently didn’t get a call and the phone was ringing for 10 mins since 8: 07 am. The lady at the front had no training as to de escalate a situation. Instead of seeing if there was another appointment sooner everything was NO or she simply didn’t get a call or did you leave a VM. I wouldn’t even have to go through this today if the office didn’t reschedule my kids initial appointments which was the same day. They never contacted me for a reschedule. Now when I finally got to reschedule it had to be on separate days which ended up being separate months.
On top of that, any time Dr Rosenblatt tells us to schedule in a certain time frame the office can never fit you in or find an appointment in said time frame. Leave it hard to tell if your child had gotten better or worst due to med change or thing of such.

Unfortunately, I am tired of deal with Dr Rosenblatt office staff. We’ve decided to make a change in providers due to this reason.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. From start to finish. Everything was so easy. The staff so friendly. They have thought of everything to make sure it’s the most present experience for kiddos. I was very anxious for this. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

I unfortunately had the worst experience with Dr. Marisa Izaguirre… heartless is what she and her staff are.

My 12 month old has had GI issues his entire life and had a serious choking incident recently which led us to getting a referral to Dr. Izaguirre. We eagerly waited 2 months for the soonest appointment. I confirmed my appointment online two days before, and submitted my check in information and paperwork the night before.

I live over an hour away traveling with a 12 month and had to find childcare for my other children. There was a lot of traffic and I was unaware we would have to park in a large paid parking garage, so I was unfortunately 12 minutes late. I checked in with the front desk at exactly 1: 12pm (my appointment was at 1) and was told that I missed my appointment and didn’t check in (they sent the check in link at 12: 05pm while I was driving).

I told them what happened and they didn’t care. The doctor herself said that I can either reschedule or wait to see if someone doesn’t show up.

We really needed this appointment and I was very heartbroken. Not only was Dr Izaguirre heartless enough to not see my baby after we were 12 minutes late (and my paperwork was already submitted), but the receptionist Shayna was very rude and seemed to enjoy being able to turn me away.

If you’re looking for a kind doctor to take time with your child and hear your case, Dr Izaguirre is not your person. Look elsewhere.

Highly recommend that you avoid this practice at all costs. Our daughter had a tonsillectomy performed at this location and we are now receiving multiple bills for the surgery from overlapping specialists who were supposedly all present for the surgery (for example, two bills for two different anesthesiologists). This was not disclosed at all prior to the surgery and now the cost of the surgery effectively doubled as a result of this shady practice.

Every time I try to schedule an appointment with my son’s audiologist or ENT, it take weeks to get through. The calling system never works. I leave messages and no one calls me back. I’m so frustrated with the office communication at this facility. After multiple failed attempts at reaching anyone, I called last week and finally got through and asked for my son’s audiologist’s professional email address because I can never find a way to talk to her and I was told they could not give me that information as if I was asking for her personal private information. I was sent to her assistant’s voicemail and still haven’t heard back. This place needs to get their phone system properly working! This has been going on for over a year! Also online scheduling would be nice as well as a way to email/message providers since there is no way to reach anyone most of the time.
Once I get an appointment or a response, the providers are great but getting scheduled or actually someone calling me back when I need assistance is so frustrating and makes me want to take my son elsewhere.

Strictly Pediatrics Nurses were absolutely phenomenal
I checked reviews last minute & was super nervous upon arrival that we would have a bad experience but I was blown away. We had to stay overnight & every nurse we had (Robin, Jessica, Cathy & there's one other I can't remember her name) were very caring, attentive, friendly & skilled. I didn't worry about my child's care once. I'm very thankful for you all & hopefully this review will ease another anxious parents mind.

I would like to give a shout out to the old timer nurse (or medical assistant who knows) they have working there on a part time schedule.

He tried giving my one year old a vaccine and poked her two times with no luck and had to be restrained from a third try. When he was stopped from doing so, the needle had fallen out and he then tried pouring the liquid in one of the two holes he tore open with the failed attempts by squeezing the wound.

I ask the head medical professional of this facility to review their medical practices. I am not a medical assistant (nor claim to be a specialist in this field) but I do know that this is not how a shot is supposed to be administered.

Even my used car with over 60k miles gets treated much better with superior service at a non-franchised mechanic shop where the master technician pops open a cold one and tries to upsell me on a new engine every time my oil change is due.

Just because you have state funded healthcare insurance does not mean you have to settle for less. You deserve to be treated better and with some kind of decency.

I have a better chance of vaccinating myself successfully with my left hand after a double shot espresso.

Stay away.

Every nurse, doctor, staff, etc that I have dealt with here has been absolutely amazing. They are on top of pain meds, they check in regularly, and make sure you're confident post op and upon discharge. You're there for health care not a resort stay.
That being said.the chair/bed thing to sleep in suuuuuuuucks. Also.the food. Just bring your own snacks lol you'll be a lot happier.
Everyone else is fabulous though

I almost canceled our procedure after reading the negative reviews, but I’m glad I didn’t. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and doctor were really great for my daughter’s ear tube surgery. Zero complaints and we really felt taken care of by the entire staff.

Their phone systems are a little frustrating, but after leaving a message I very quickly received a return call.

Leaving this review for the folks getting tubes placed - Dr Jones was great, ran early, and kept me very informed the entire way. Despite the fact that it really was an extremely minor procedure.
