3rd time I've came in here and the ONLY ONE that seems to have great customer service is Ms. Mary! So please give her some recognition.fast and respectful.
Everything was clean and organized as well as the restrooms. So that's why the 4 stars. If not for ms. Mary would've been TWO!

This happened at you location at 45 N and Airtex The police were called out. We went into the Stripes to get ice last night and the worker their called the police on us.

I have never gotten gas or bought food from the Laredo Taco but I go to the convenience store frequently. Medium sodas, 32 oz, is $0.79. It is a pretty busy location but the cashiers are friendly and get people through the line quickly. Hot snacks and sandwiches are available and some other re are refrigerated items. Haven't really had any of the food that is prepared there. Restrooms are decent.

This is the worst place ever i dont recomend it those ladies that are helping are so rude and unprofessional and the manner how they take order is so stupid and no s3nse when all customer we dont know the name of the food we want to order they were mad at me when i told other locations while u are walking u are ordering so and she said so angry this is so different i never comeback to this place so please dont come here

I just arrived in Houston for work. I was happy to find a Stripes. It's a bigger, new improved one than most Stripes. However, I was surprised to see no line in the taco area at 7: 45 in the morning.with the store packed full of people. I stand by the eggs an stuff and there was 4 Mexican ladies making tortillas, stirring eggs, etc. They ignored me for about 1.5 minutes.then told me something in Spanish pointing towards the register. So I walk over there, about 10 ft further down the empty line. The young Mexican girl talks to me in Spanish. I say, what, I dont know Spanish that well. She says, your order. I ordered a Chorizo an Egg taco with corn tortillas. She then puts a piece of paper down on the counter and walks away without saying anything. I said, now do I pay trying to hand her money. She says, Go pay over there.pointing. So I go get a coffee then go to the register where you pay. The nice cashier there said, ok now go wait over there and they'll call you when your order is ready. So i go to one of the 15 tables right in front of the egg taco area. After 5 minutes sitting there, and 5 minutes getting coffee and paying.i start looking towards where my taco might be arriving. Finally, a girl tells me something in Spanish from across the room, like 20 ft away. Again, I'm like what? Is it ready? More Spanish is told to me.ugghh.so i walk up there, and she tells me more Spanish. I told her i don't know Spanish that well.so she waves her hand at me in a dismissing manner and calls another girl. I was like cool, this other girl knows English. I think she was like the leader of the 6 taco workers.she talks to me in Spanish. I tell her. I'm just looking for my taco. She says, give me your paper.and rolls her eyes at me. She goes and tries to find my 1 taco i ordered 10 minutes earlier.comes back and holds it in front of me without saying a word.
I had noticed 3 fancy dressed guys walking around inspecting Stripes during these 10 minutes. I figured they were bosses. I sit down to eat.and tried to enjoy my taco.but i needed to let them know how i felt. So i go over to them and ask, are you guys some kind of bosses? They said yea, can we help you? So i explained the situation and told them maybe that's why the store is packed, hundreds of cars are driving by.but no one is in line to buy tacos. They apologized and offered to buy my taco and coffee. I told them.no, no, no. I dont want anything. I just want you to know how it feels to order a taco here at this big, fancy Stripes. They said thankyou, we'll do something about it.
In the taco workers defense. I do look Mexican. I'm half Mexican and half white. I grew up with my white mom and her side of the family, went to an all white school, etc. I didnt know any Spanish until my 20s. I'm 48 now, and have learned alot, but still cannot communicate in Spanish well.
The taco and coffee were good.but man, the struggle is real in the taco line.
Edit: I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because I was forced to look for other food choices besides having to deal with the taco ladies. They have fried chicken combos.not just the usual legs. They have breast, thigh, and legs. You can get 2 pieces and a side for $2.59. Shouldnt tell ya'll this because if all the chickens gone when I get there. I'm gonna be upset. And all the other cashiers are super nice.especially the Chicana girl.hehe

Stood in line and waited to be served only to have the next person walk up and have the server take them ahead of me so I left without food. Apparently, if you’re white you get served last.

Well i go to Stripes to get a drink on 1-4-19. I walk in to make my drink and a man has his foot up on the drink station tieing his shoe. I said you just gonna put your shoe on the drank station. He didn't say a word and turned around to continue stocking his shelf. I brought it up to the ladies in front. They didn't have a clue and really didn't care. So i just snapped a pic of him on my way out. HOW DISGUSTING! WHO KNOWS HE COULD HAVE NO TELLING WHAT ON THE BOTTOM OF HIS SHOE. GROSS

Bathrooms are disgusting.pan handler at door like a door man. Panhandlers in truck in lot. Gas pumps not working. 2 service cashiers.both nice but incompetent. Will NEVER go back!

Bought the taco meal. 4 tacos beans and rice. The meat in the tacos werent seasoned at all. They tasted like $h#t. Threw away the whole food. Never again will i order that plate.

Great place to have your credit card information stolen. They have credit card skimmers at their pumps! I'm on day 4 of cleaning up this mess after getting gas there

I will never do business at Stripes anywhere again. I tried to get a few dollars worth of gas there with my debt card.it seems I did not have enough in my account to cover some set minimum which is well over what I wanted. I just wanted a few dollars worth till pay day.hmmm, well I can't make people take my money for gas, so I went to leave.out in my car I checked my bank account on my phone app just to be sure. THEY CLEANED OUT MY ACCOUNT! They put a hold on all the money in my account for 2 days. I got no gas, I got nothing. The manager would do nothing, she gave me a corporate number, i spoke to the them.we are so sorry, we will hold on to your money for two days. I got no service, I got no gas all I got was an apology. MY CAR DOES NOT RUN ON SORRY! Now I can even go buy gas somewhere else.

Besides that, I go to two locations quite frequently, I have to say I was already getting tired because they do not remove old 2 liters from the shelf and they sold me stale soda more than once.

You can count on the place being a mess between 430 and 7PM when I go in.

You just have to expect to be bothered by panhandlers at the entrance every single time you go in. I understand every once in a while, but it is just part of the stripes experience.

There are lot's of good places to go. Stripes is not one of them. If I could give them zero stars they would get zero.

This store needs to get their act together! First they run out of coffee in the morning and you have to order your tacos at one counter, then get in another line to pay (which is another problem because they keep changing how many lines there are to check out and if you have been in the wrong line -to bad - you have to get in the back of another line and wait again, no matter how long you have been waiting in the so called first line) then pay for your tacos and wait for Laredo to call your number.
Not very customer friendly like they were when they first open up.
I will be stopping at the other Stripes across the street, it older but they have there act together and the clerks treat you better.

Worst customer service ever, and that manager in the kitchen does not know anything about the food service laws.
