Stripes - The Alterations Place, Fort Bliss TX

Unfortunately, my husband had terrible luck with this place. They kept changing the pick up day and he went 3 days later then they said and his jacket was just getting done. He waited, tried it on and the alteration looked like I did it at home (I don't sew) He had to leave for Training so he took it as it was but it definitely doesn't look like a professional alteration. The customer service ladies were super nice and apologetic. We hope they can get it together.

I have never had an issue with the work, ever. Friendly staff too. But get another register! Get two NEW ones, PLEASE. I don’t like using this place because the wait is horrible when there are TWO or more people in line!

The service was phenomenal. Because of Covid-19, they only allowed one in at a time, but they provided their utmost while moving customers along in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend

They tend to procrastinate on getting things done. They wait until the very last moment to do alterations instead of working on them as soon as possible, often ending up not competing on time.

This installation is too big and too busy for the service hours and number of personnel employed at this location. I have visited here several times however have never gotten anything done. The last time was Monday, one of the reported days of operation, there was a hand-written sign on the door that said at lunch be back at 1510. What establishment such as this is closed at 1430 in the afternoon with a line halfway down the sidewalk. This is indicative of most of the military clothing establishments on this base!
