Stubb's Bar-B-Q reviews
32Great service, food tastes excellent, and the staff is amazing at what they do. 10 out of 10, would recommend to anyone who lives barbecue or just a good time.
The employees were VERY friendly! They get a 5 star. But the food only rated a 1-2 star based on lack of flavor, DRY, TOUGH meat. We tried the chopped beef, chicken, jalapeño cheese sausage, ribs, macaroni, cream spinach and potato salad. The cream spinach was delectable! The macaroni was creamy but not too rich in flavor. The large chunk potato salad was very delicious.
Big disappointment. Ordered a brisket sandwich. More roll than meat. Dry and no flavor. Small serving of basic fries. The spinach was ok. Only saving grace wad the service. Had to listen to base during our meal. Not a plesant
This business has gone too far. They do not get to to do medical testing on me. If their stance is to make it mandatory, then I will no longer frequent your establishment.
Trying Stubbs carry out for the first time. Dark haired, chubby girl at checkout not too friendly. How many other customers has she scared away? Won’t be returning
Good stuff. Not every food item was a hit but nothing wasn't good by any means. We were seated quickly but service could have been a bit quicker and more attentive.
The meat is far and away the highlight of Stubb’s. We had turkey, ribs, chopped beef, and brisket. All were absolutely amazing, highly recommend any of them. Sides is where the place was lacking. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were potato buds and Mac and cheese was nothing special. They weren’t bad, but just not notable. Still encourage a visit, though.
Went to the Sunday Gospel Brunch. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were the brisket and the enchiladas. The bacon was yummy, too! The music was inspiring!
Super delicious BBQ. Photo is the Bar-b-q plate (pictured is the Angus beef brisket) with two sides. The sides are sarrento cheese spinach (has some kick to it) and the mashed sweet potatoes. The soft drink cups must be like 20-24 oz cups. Humongous. Brought my wife and three kids there and everyone loved it.
The building is better than the BBQ but the BBQ ain't that bad. They have a really cool looking live music venue in the basement. If those walls could only talk!
Whoo. Went with a big party and had the all you can eat. It was fantastic but expect to walk out with a food baby. Really loved it.
When the side veggies they serve is better than the BBQ, the place has a problem. The meats were tender but no flavor. The table sause wasn't at all good.
Did actually eat, however atmosphere is lovely, place is quite interesting and cool, and the amphitheatre out back is great!
The ribs are excellent. Mashed sweet potatoes sweet and delicious. I liked the bite of the collard greens - they were cooked right unlike most places (hate mush). Brisket a little weaker but added a little of Stubbs bbq sauce and all's well. Service fast & friendly.
Cheap BBQ buffet with gospel music on Sunday. Many say the BBQ isn't good but the buffet is good enough
Meat was as good as I have had anywhere. Cole slaw was not. No refills on drinks no water no tea. Boil water notice today when I ate. But no refills on sodas to make up for it?
The 10: 30 Gospel brunch starts promptly on time, you get an hour of music and time to eat then they start wrapping things up so they can get the next group in at 12: 30. Plenty of food can't get everything on one plate if you want to taste it all.
Awesome space, great sound, and great view from all sides
More open than you can find in most pictures
The cobbler was great, everything was really good, after touring BBQ joints all day, I expected it to be commercial and kind of over done, but I was pleasantly surprised, not one thing we ordered was less than a 9/10. Really good experience, loved the staff, thought the live music was cool too. Glad to finally get this one checked off the list, I've been a big fan of the sauces for a long time!
