Shahin from the Study Dorm is Houston’s best tutor. I haven’t had a math class in over 8 years so when I had to take the GRE and Executive Assessment for graduate school I knew I’d need extra help to prep! Shahin gave me so many tips and tricks and taught me how to decipher what these complex math questions were asking. I just got news that I was accepted into the Rice University MBA program and I can’t be more thankful to Shahin for prepping me for these exams!

I highly recommend this place because this is one of the best places to help you learn concepts such as algebra 2 better in a way that will stick with you forever.

I love this place. They have helped my brother and improved since 2 years ago. I was a student here since 2018 and my brother also learns subtraction and multiplication. Ms. Shahin, Mr. Sam and Mr. Nithin/John have helped me so is Vivek, however he has been busy lately. Its still a miracle to come here and learn different topics. These days, I am learning measurements, gallon, quart, pint, cup, and decimals. I love the fact that they are very polite and caring in the classrooms and they dont have many kids because if that happened it would be a loud classroom so this place is doing an amazing job with nicer instructors, easier work and work thats not too complicated. I hope this place continues to be a success. You guys are the best!

I am sorry i wont be coming bc i have online class for 5th and 2nd grade

I am currently outside waiting for a 10am appointment that I had schedule to review for my TEAS exam, it’s almost 10: 30am. Not only did I call Thursday to confirm my appointment, I left a voicemail and no one ever got back to me. Such a waste of time and energy.

For two summers I've tried enrolling my child in the summer camp but gave up because both times the doors were locked although the hours indicated they were open & none of my calls were ever returned. Believe the other reviewer that said her calls were never returned.

Study Dorm is great! My son was struggling in Pre-AP Algebra II so we signed him up for tutoring. In just two sessions he was able to raise his average in the class by 10 points. The tutor asks him questions to confirm his understanding and that is really helping him learn the material. So glad we found Study Dorm!

My son benefited tremendously from the tutoring that he took to excel in his 7th and 8th gr CBE. Highly recommend.

I've looked into a lot of academies and tutoring options and I have to say that the Study Dorm ran by Mrs. Sha is by far the best! She shows much dedication, passion, and extends herself continuously to make certain that the students are excelling. I love their group tutoring approach equipped with their own curriculum. It's providing both my children with specific skill support and enrichment they need. The instructors are fabulous-can't say enough about them.my children love going to Study Dorm. The tutors know exactly where my child was lacking. My older one who was an average student is now an honor student taking challenging classes in high school and Study Dorm contributed to making that happen. He is now preparing for the ACT/SAT and I am confident that they will prepare well for the test.

The way that math is taught today in schools makes it difficult for parents to help with homework at home - the concepts are taught differently than when we grew up. Mrs. Sha communicates with parents to ensure parents, students and tutors are all on the same page.

Overall, I am truly thankful to Mrs. Sha and the Study Dorm tutors for helping my son excel in his academics. Highly recommended!

Ms. Shain is a great math teacher. My both sons are learning Math from Ms. Sahin since 5th grade. They are now in 11th and 9th grade and Ms. Shain is helping them on any math topics including Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus, and SAT prep. As a parent, we are very happy with the results and the knowledge my both sons gained from her. We highly recommend Study Dorm and Ms. Sahin as a teacher and coach for any math topics.
Study Dorm is the place if you want have perfect score on Math or if your kids are struggling with Math.

TERRIBLE! The owner doesn’t answer the phone, doesn’t return phone calls or reply to messages sent. I wasted $800 just in college tuition on a math class that she was helping me with not including the $50/hour I have been paying her and last minute, day before due date she got “sick” and now I will have to RETAKE the math class. I’ve watched her have a class full of students trying to do 15 things at once and nobody get the attention they need or sit and wait for her to finally acknowledge their question. I also have watched her print old test off from the internet and give to students to work on, you can do that at home for FREE. During her summer camp there is no sign out process. Kids are waiting outside for their parents with no teacher around. Door opens and nobody looks to see who it is. Any body could pick your kid up and they would never know! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!
