Sandwich Shop Subway reviews
18There's a guy in there that does a great job, I go there all the time during my lunch hour I dont know his name but he's a black guy and he is not like all the other employees he needs a raise the other's are always talking to each other and avoiding service.
Super clean and was literally no one in there at 7 pm on the weekend. They also have dine in. Big plus!
The ppl that work here are great! The mgr has a great sense of humor. He tried to sell me cheesecake they didn't have Lol.with my tip he said he was going to buy cheesecake. Just a great personality! Ok the place was clean & they allowed me to substitute meats. Great price for lunch & it was delicious.
If the lady working doesn’t want to work there then get a different job. She was rude and acted very annoyed the entire time
Can you please open one in Crystal Beach. You closed the nasty one here. Thank God. Now we Need a new one
Do not come here.the service is disgusting. They do not have food, they do not have drinks.please do something to be better
Lady put 2 cheese on my 6inch. I usually get 3 every time I get 6inch, and gave me only one piece of tissue.really
Normally this is the better location. Tonight I came in at 6: 30 and they have only one employee. When I arrived there were 6 people ahead of me. The employee did the best he could but he needed help. I blame management.
I'm at work and my manager n I ordered Subway and an Uber was dropping out our food to us. I opened my sandwich a nat came out I called the store she claims she just had an inspection and that she doesn't have nats in her store. I'm not lying why would I lie I even told her the sandwich is here she can take it. So I called the 61st Subway and it's sad that they helped me and she couldn't. Her name is Alma
It's true, the bad ratings with this store. I enter and had to call to the back for help. They were out of tuna out of white bread and pickle and through attitude when I expected a discount. OMG learn how to run a business. I hope that wasn't the owner. Never to this store again.
Place was clean although service awful. Was in there tonight, and a girl with dark hair and torn up nails took me and my husbands order. Been sick with the stomach flu and not had a solid meal in 2 days. I understand that people sometimes have things going on in their lives, and we don't know what they deal with outside of work. However tonight was unacceptable.
All I wanted was a simple sandwich, and some vitamin water to rehydrate with. Not that crazy, right? After having the girl give me a bad attitude and stank face while preparing my food, I went up to the counter to ask her to change the beverage I wanted. It can be hard to hear behind a glass, but she kept incredulously asking if I was really saying their water machine broke. Finally I raised my voice, telling her that I thought the vitamin water was empty in the back.
There was an old man who came in, so I let her wait on him before doing anything. She then proceeded to hide in the back, probably posting snaps or something like that. As a former subway worker I get that there's other responsibilities, and that lifting those drink boxes can be rough. Having only 2 customers in a span of 30 minutes, I think she could have checked and informed me if she was out. If the girl was physically incapable of lifting that it would have been fine too. It's just that there was no follow up.
Normally I'm far more poised, finding either empathy for or amusement from the worst of service workers. Tonight I did give some additude back after being treated like an annoyance while being so easy to please. Even the sweetest people get fed up eventually. Don't want this chick to get fired, but she doesn't need to learn to wear a hat or hair net in accordance to Texas law, and wear an apron. Will be talking to her manager tommorow since I accidentally threw my receipt away.
Horrible customer service. I walked in and there wasn't anyone at the counter. I said "hello" very loudly, without an answer. I then got my soda from the fridge. And, still didn't see anyone. Left soda on counter and walked out.
1220, typical lunch time for this place. Usually love it. One star, one reason. Greeted, ordered 6 inch steak and cheese, extra meat and cheese. Good paying customer, even upsold myself. Young lady scoops at bottom of steak container and immediately ask for fresh steak. She turns to mgr and says in Spanish "he wants fresh but there's more in here". She is told to help the next person in line. That "Mgr" then scoops the remaining bits out of the container I asked not to have and I walked out. No more of my hard earned money to this BS. I once product rotation and expiration, but a higher paying customer who asks for fresh ingredients should not be denied. Shame on you both. I am a 45yo with over 25 yrs of business experience, you never get a dollar from me again. I will go to the location on 61st from now on.
It's Subway! I enjoy Subway restaurants where the employees put a good amount of veggies on the sandwich and do it in a timely manner. This is why I Subway.
We never got to eat at this particular food chain location due to the aggressive and negative behavior of the three young men that were there. One even approached my son as to start a confrontation or intimidate him. I don't know of the other staff that are there, but I'd say Star Bucks isn't the only one needing some classes on avoiding racism.
I have never experienced the amount of rudeness and terrible customer service as I did when visiting this location. They did not even have all the options they are supposed to. Put things in my sandwich I didn't ask for, and was ugly to me for asking it to be fixed.
MAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!? So I just left the subway on seawall and 49th seawall and the young lady Maria decided she wanted to be lazy (since it was close to closing time) and not only scoop my tuna with her hand but also spread it on my sandwich! And said "What I have on a glove? " She probably will no longer work there once I contact corporate!
Nicest sandwich artist girl ever but all by herself. It took us 20 minutes to grt a sandwhich and there were only 2 people in front of us. I asked her if someone called in sick and she said no she was always by herself. Seriously subway manager? Go back to manager school.
