Subway, Alpine TX

Ordered an All American Club. It was really good. The meat and cheese were fresh. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and tasted great. Condiments were fresh and applied in the correct proportions. The bread was fresh and cooked correctly, and the bread in the trays looked to be cooked correctly as well. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were painfully slow (two employees looked like it was their first day) and were out of two of the condiments that I wanted. In addition they only had a choice of American and Jack cheese (no provolone or swiss the day I was there) so choices were limited. Overall this location is very good and probably would rate 5 stars on any given day. If you're in Alpine, I'd definitely recommend.

Got the cheese steak sandwich, which was disappointing. Bread not toasted, extra cheese not added, and the beef tasteless. Next time I'll stick with the meatball sub.

Very nice staff. Every sandwich I get there is top quality. Appreciate the extra effort they make to go that extra mile.

It was delicious! I had the forest ham on Italian herb and cheese footlong loaf with all the veggies, mustard and vinaigrette dressing. Its like having a salad in a loaf of bread. Darn good.

Got fast service, ordered salad (only restaurant in town to make any salad other than a small side salad) got it fast, but I wish they still chopped the salad it is not nearly as good when I have to cut it up at home.

I mean it's subway.good not great. Place is clean staff is nice sandwiches are average.not a life changing experience but decent subway.

Always friendly, courteous, always quick service. My only complaint about any Subway shop is no roast beast (beef).

We were passing through Alpine and needed something packaged for our journey ahead. We found this Subway joint and some other local eateries. But since we were short on time we took Subway's. This place is like any other Subway joint. The place had all the items available in Subway menu. The one thing good about the place was that the staff knew what was asked to add in the sub and responded to it promptly. They have asked customers to wear masks and they were also following Covid protocols.

Allows unmasked folks to enter despite being in the #2 hotspot in Texas. Owner defends this practice by saying their brave employees are trying as hard as they can to make money for them in these trying times. No hyperbole- actually worried more about the store making money than the health of their patrons or community.

Great food, staff, we knew what to expect. After 400+ miles in the west Texas heat, a cold crunchy salad went down very well. Great meal at a reasonable price.

Came in late on a Sunday night and Cristy provided me with AMAZING customer service. She made our sandwiches correctly with very good presentation of everything she made. We also ordered a salad which she made with love and even recommended what cheese and ingredients to include in the salad. Overall just a great experience, I’ve walked in other times and was not provided with nearly anything like her customer service! That girl should get a raise.

This is one of the few restaurants still open due to the COVID pandemic. They were overloaded with customers, but did fine.

Don’t order on the phone. I’ve ordered a sub for takeout on 3 occasions & on all 3 my sub was not toasted like I ordered. Gave them 3 stars because they are friendly and have solid customer service. Just need to be more attentive to detail.

Purchased a salad. They were low on vegetables and they did not chop it up. Why? Day before we purchased sandwiches and they were low on vegetables?
