I was going into this not expecting much because of the mixed reviews. I’m assuming everyone that loves it here gets the spray tan (from a person). I got the pura spray tan (machine) after seeing a Groupon for it just to try it out. The machine does not spray your sides (which other machine spray tans do or the machine instructs you to rotate to cover the sides) so my shoulders, side of my leg, underarms and side torso are not tanned. The tan on my arms also isn’t even, it’s darker on some parts. There isn’t any lotion in the room to cover your nails or elbows/knees etc which I’ve always seen in other locations I’ve used the machine and regular spray tans so my fingers are VERY tan. I got the medium tan, which normally is too dark for my liking with airbrush but even this medium is really light. I would say this is OK only if you don’t have an event to go to, or aren’t going to the beach/pool which is why I give it a two. Basically if you have clothings on it’s alright.besides the legs. The drain also did not work and I had the last appointment so there was literally a puddle at the bottom the the machine which is just gross. I have a lady that does my airbrush spray tans, (she just didn’t have an availability last minute in this case) so I probably won’t be coming back here

Update: it’s day 3 & most of my tan already washed off. Just don’t do the pura booth tan.

I’ve been coming to Suddenly Sunless for over three years now, Taylor and her staff have been nothing short of amazing. They are always nice, accommodating and tans always turn out great. I live over 45 minutes away but it is worthy the weekly drive because I know I will be treated well and my tan will be perfect. Thank you ladies for always being so great!

Taylor S has done many airbrush tans for me, and I could not be happier with the results. She is amazing!

I have been to numerous tanning locations in the DFW area since moving here 2 years ago, and Suddenly Sunless is by far the best. All of the staff that I’ve had an experience with were super friendly and flexible with Scheduling/cancellations. I don’t often leave reviews but I’m very picky with tanning locations and I go out of my way to drive the 30 mins for this location

I absolutely love this place! Great customer service, amazing products, absolutely stunning tans! I’ve gotten at least five spray tans here absolutely love it. Highly recommend asking for Taylor if you go in.

Worst spray tan I’ve ever had. I would not recommend going here. I used the booth with the medium bronzing solution and I’ve never had such a bad spray tan. The machine stopped after one pass and I had to call an attendant to help. They told me to wipe down everything that was sprayed so my whole front side and sides and that they redo the machine from start to finish. What they should have done was offer to air brush the rest of my body after that incident knowing that the quality wouldn’t be the best if I had to wipe it off and start again. The staff was friendly and helpful but don’t expect to get a nice even tan, a working tanning booth or customer service that goes above and beyond to make your tan look the best it can walking out of their place.

So easy to book and lots of availability for appointments. Heard great things about this place
