Sudhanshu Gogia, M.D. reviews
14I am totally pleased that my PCP referred me to Dr. Gogia two years ago. Dr. Gogia has always shown great caring for me and my wife, Denise Bryan.
Dr. Gogia and staff were very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Gogia explained everything to me and did not make me feel like I was being rushed through. I had an excellent experience 2x now with his office.
The wait time is getting longer & longer. After an hour and 1/2, I was seen.
He is great & both my husband and I use him!
The receptionist was very rude to me and made my appointment wrong. He has no customer service experience r skills. They need to hire someone with experience as I won’t tolerate this again.
DR SUDHANSHU GOGIA AND ALL HIS STAFF ARE AMAZING. I DEFNILELY RECOMMAND THEM. CATHI LU
If you have a simple concern that can be resolved with medication and or a simple procedure, then this is probably the place for you.
However, if you are even the slightest bit educated, prepare to have the doctor’s “good bedside manner” and “ability to explain things well to patients” for what it really is: condescending elistism with a dash of audacious entitlement especially if you happen to disagree with his interpretation of the data and might be upset with his refusal to listen to the patient.
He came highly recommended, was adequately educated for a doctor, and had a generally kind demeanor.
However, after one round of testing and his hasty interpretation of initial data, his response was to dismiss my pain and concerns, invalidate my feelings about the situation, and finally suggest that treatment plan was to “treat the symptoms” with medicine that I have already been on (that don’t fix anything, but put a blanket on it) and additionally suggested a script for pain pills.
Because that is what we need to be recommending, not listening to patients, not believing that they are in pain or problems of patients but labeling them, giving them prescription meds, and handing out pain pills.
Dr. Gogia - 2/5 - adequate, sadly not someone I would recommend to MY family and friends
Nurses/all other medical staff 5/5 - kind, respectful, does the actual work, and very accommodating
But this review does not constitute medical advice. This represents my own personal experience hence it is only anecdotal evidence at best. Proceed at your own risk.
Dr. Gogia shows a genuine interest in his patients' overall health and well-being. He asked a number of pertinent questions that I believe other doctors would have overlooked. He spent a good amount of time talking to me to get the full picture of my health problems and never made me feel rushed. He outlined a course of treatment and immediately started me on that path. His MA, Emily, was also very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dr. Gogia.
Had a awesome experience. Everyone at the Bay Area Houston Endoscopy Center was so polite. I really like Dr. Gogia.
I definitely appreciate a physician that will sit and actually listen to what’s going on with you. His staff was great and very helpful with answering all my questions proficiently.
Excellent bedside manner and caring physician. Dr Gogia takes the time to truly listen to his patients concerns. Highly recommend.
Absolutely takes his time when answering questions. And lead us in a better direction then where I was going to go. Very professional.
While Dr. Gogia may be great. The staff needs help. No one answers the phone. You get to talk to a machine or use the portal. Don't bother making a telephone conference because he won't receive it. I would not run my business this way. This is absolutely infuriating. Even their complaint phone number has no one manning it. It's just another bot. Face-to-face customer service is a thing of the past! Hope you like talking to AIs. You won't get anything resolved here.
Love my Doctor. He’s always willing to help and get information just Incase there’s something more serious going on. No hesitation on admission to hospital if need be.
Dr. Gogia’s office is busy, yet efficient. Everything went smoothly from check in to procedure to discharge. Dr. Gogia was professional and personable. His staff was kind and ensured I was comfortable at every step of the way.
