Sue and her daughter are the sweetest and excellent tailors. We have been coming her for years she does all my daughters and grandaughters gowns and wedding dresses

Extremely rude owner. Came in with my daughter as a first time customer. She demanded I put on a mask. “You need to put on a mask! ” She did not ask me politely. She lost my business. You don’t demand. You ask. Not dealing with rudeness anymore. So I took my business to DT Tailor down the road. Super kind young lady very happy to take new customers. I’d rather pay for kind business owners than rude old woman and ungrateful business owner.

They do excellent work! I believe they take on too much and become tight on timelines to complete work. I needed a dress restructured/altered for a wedding I dropped it off Aug 13 and explained we were leaving for the wedding 13 September. She scheduled the first fitting 31 Aug. I was very surprised that not much work has been done by the 31st. Nonetheless she did the fitting and pinned the dress for hemming. I had to call her and stop by to determine the pickup date. She assured me it would be done by the 12th and she would call me that day for pickup time. I called her at 1300hrs on 12 Sept only for her to say she had left a message on my cell (I had no missed calls or messages from her). She then asked for an extension and wanted to know if I could pick the dress up on the at 0900 hrs on the 13th after a lot of excuses and complaining. I explained that wasn’t possible because we were driving out of town at 0600 hrs on 13 sept. I finally got a call from her on the 12th that my dress would be ready at 2100 hrs that night. I found this to be pretty unprofessional. They say they are extremely busy and I think maybe they are but each time I went into their shop they talked and talked and talked about family, friends, clients, house problems etc. I know way more about these ladies than anyone should. I think they should concentrate more on the work they take on and less on chatting up clients and unloading their personal lives on them and they would be much more efficient.
All in all their work was excellent but they caused way more stress on me and I suspect other clients than is necessary.
