Sugar Valley RV Resort by Rjourney, Van Vleck TX

Well let’s just say the place ha great opportunity. It is a good location for construction workers. However they are supposed to treat the water here as they recycle it but they don’t, so when the sprinklers come on it smells like a sewer plant. They change the rate on the long term people constantly. One month it’s all bills paid next you must pay electric. The office closes earlier than the hours posted so mail received builds up. The folks that manage the office all they do is take the money. Any complaints they tell you we have to call the general manager. After a week or two they ask you to to call the general manager’s office but none of their phone numbers go to them to hear your complaints. Now the rent here is 425 a month on gravel pavement. Down the road 10 miles away a new Rv park opened and it 400 a month and on concrete

Beautiful rv park! It's all shaded and showers are great plus you never run out of hot water. Staff is very nice plenty of spots to choose from. Close to plants for work and quiet enough to just relax

We loved this Rv resort! We didn't plan on staying because as we were driving through, our car broke down. This was the closest place to where we were. I am so glad it was. The people here (staff and residents) are incredibly nice and friendly. Everyone we met was willing to help us through our ordeal. We ended up staying for 12 nights waiting for our car. Shout out to Rhonda and Nancy in the store. Their hospitality went a long way and was very much appreciated. If you're ever driving through Bay City/Van Vleck area, this is the place you should go. Nice, shaded sites. Live oaks everywhere. Check in was a breeze. Camp store with stuff you might need. Beer and seltzer. Ice. Propane on site. Splash pad. Overall a very nice kept RV Resort.

Great place to be very quiet peaceful they take pets they have a splash pad. Very friendly price is reasonable, and they have a little store on site You can also refill your propane here

Spacious sites with lots of grass and trees. Great customer service! Clean shower houses and laundry. Nice BBQ grills near a shady ramada. Fun half court for the kiddos to a shoot some hoops. The store has RV supplies, food staples, ice, wine, beer, smokes, and variety of drinks/snacks at a good price. Propane dispensing at a good rate.

The Sugar Valley RV Resort is a great place to stay! The lots are nice and big, the park is quiet and the staff is AMAZING! They are all so friendly and they know you by name!

We were at this park for a little over 2 months for a job. The people in the office were awesome and were happy to help with anything. The sites are spaced good and the park is very peaceful. I love all the big oak trees. If I had one complaint I would say the electric is a little high and the weekly rate is not cheap lol but definitely wont keep me from coming back if we are ever in that area again. I highly recommend this park.

Very friendly staff, nice place to stay. I cannot say enough about how helpful all the staff are, willing to help in any way. We stayed only one night as we were driving through but would have stayed longer without a problem. Blessed that we came across this park.

Great place to stay! The staff is super friendly and does an amazing job at helping with whatever you need! The park is clean and well kept as are the laundry mat & shower houses. They have an on site convenience store and they keep a lot of essentials stocked! The sites are good sized, we have a 43' 5th wheel and we are able to park it and two vehicles with no problem! Plus the yards have plenty of room for the kids to play! I would highly recommend this park if you are ever in the area!

Great staff. Good amenities. Close to lots of recreational activities. I would recommend them to any one taking a vacation, for sure.and we will be back in a few months!

Very friendly staff, know your name the next day. Clean and quiet. Small laundromat, also a bigger one about 5 minutes away. Bay City close with all the big stores and food. Nice lots and a lot of green areas for dogs. Paved roads and padded spots for your trailer. Store and ATM on sight and able to get mail of any kind. Can bring your golf cart and the scenery around is beautiful. Very appreciative for the staff.
