Mediterranean Restaurant Sultan reviews
20We came in to try the brunch menu that we saw on the website but were told that it was "coming soon. " Pricing on the regular menu is exorbitant. For 6 of us, we shared the mezze platter, two kabob platters and a few sandwiches for lunch, our bill was $192. It's a full service sit down restaurant but they will not serve you water - you instead have to buy bottled water. Ambiance was a little off as well. They have large TVs around the restaurant as if it were a sports bar but they only played Fox news. The quality of the food itself was fine but most likely we will not go back.
It was the best breakfast I’ve ever tried. We ordered Sultan breakfast, which was $25 per person, but it was worth it. Delicious, fresh, excellent customer service, kind server, their chef and manager, both came and asked about food and our experience. We had unforgettable memories there and highly recommend to try it.
Finally we got that type of a restaurant in McKinney.
Amazing food, good people, perfect interior and atmosphere.
Good Luck to you Guys
We had a great experience. The ambiance is very lovely. The owner and our waiter were so courteous and checked on us throughout the meal.
We ordered:
-Trio Appetizer (Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Ezme which was my favorite! It's made of red peppers, walnuts and pomegranate molasses)
-Kabob Sultani
-Chicken Shish Tawook Kabob
-Kunafa
-Strawberry Mojito
-Ayran (a refreshing, savory, traditional yogurt drink)
Everything was delicious! My favorites were the ezme, kabob sultani, kunafa and mojito!
The food here was tasty and flavorful, ambience is very chic and elegant
The service is excellent too!
Pros: Food is Good, Bread is served fresh and Hot.
Cons: Service takes a while as there is one person trying to service the whole restaurant. Felt it’s a little expensive given the quality and quantity of food. If you claim it as a fine dinning restaurant then the least you can do is provide cloth napkins and not paper tissues. Charging for Water, extra bread and sauce is what the customer don’t want to see in the bill given the price they charge for appetizers and main course.
The definition of Sultan is a position of Strength, Authority and Rulership. Well, after dinning at Sultan, I would say they are the Authority over Mediterranean food:)
It was so very good. Excellent service. It was a little on the pricey side. Dinner for 3 was 200.00 with out tip: (
Lastly, my favorite item was Kash Kash desert. It was absolutely delicious.
Sultan is a true Mediterranean gem that exceeded all my culinary expectations. From the moment I entered, the inviting aroma of exotic spices set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu, a delightful journey through the Mediterranean, offered an array of dishes that showcased the chef's commitment to authenticity. Combo is must to taste different dishes. Each bite, from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the flavorful falafel, was a burst of rich and vibrant flavors. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients with friendly staff truly elevated the dining experience. Finishing the amazing experience with Sutlach, which is a rice pudding with creamy texture, and tea is highly recommended.
10 stars. The owner and the worker were both so kind. My credit cards were declining as I am visiting from Canada. They insisted I do not leave without trying the food I was trying to order. They gave me a cappuccino as I waited and some other foods to try.
I would rate 10 stars do try as they are a new establishment. The hospitality and the kindness shown is unmatched.
Inshallah I wish your business great success brothers.
Everything is great in this restaurant, the food, the staff and the place, even the bathroom is very clean. We will definitely be back here again and again!
Best restaurant I’ve been too in a while amazing food amazing service I highly recommend this place owner was very professional clean environment great vibes check them out!
Scrumptious authentic Kurdish, Turkish, Iraqi, Lebanese cuisine enjoyed from Comfy chairs. Staff made me feel right at home!
I enjoyed all these meals:
Turkish Coffee - authentically prepared
Shish Tawook - the chicken was so tender!
Lamb kabab - tender and flavorful
and don't forget the dessert to go. Looking forward to a late nite snack of Sutlach and Baklava!
It was our first time at Sultan restaurant. We loved the atmosphere and the meat platter for 4 was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the place was very beautiful. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
Amazing food, service and presentation! All of the items we tried were delicious, but we all agreed that the Kabab Sultani was the best. Our only complaint would be that they won’t serve you tap water.
This place is new. I think they need a better planning for how successfully serve customers specifically Saturday night. The price is so high. The food worth to try specifically the desert
An AMAZING experience! I went here with a few of my girlfriends for a late lunch and I have to say we experienced the most courteous and attentive service possible. The waiters were very helpful with making selections and were sure to check up on us but not hover. He also noticed it was my friends birthday (we did not make a big deal out of it one of us just handed over a present) and after we had payed they played happy birthday over the speakers and gave us a complimentary dessert which I thought was so incredibly nice:). The food was just as good as the service! The bread was fresh, warm and soft and the meats were tender and flavorful and served in large portions. Just an amazing experiences over all we will be sure to come here for other occasions:).
Excellent authentic Kurdish and Mediterranean dishes. The grill combo platter for two was more than enough to share and tasted great.hospitality 10/10 from Rafit who took great care of us for our lunch. Highly recommend
Visited this restaurant today, for lunch. I was not impressed with the food. I had Mediterranean food before.but the amount of grease they had used was a lot.was almost not edible.
Service was ok, atmosphere was good.
Also gratuity was already added in the bill, which didn’t fit our expectations.
Everything else is best just the prices are a bit higher. Overall best experience. Gives you Turkish vibes.
