Summer Moon Coffee reviews
16I was so excited to have a summer moon so close, but the drive thru is ridiculous. Today I waited for 30 minutes (literally) with only a few cars in front of me, and there’s no way to exit the line once you’ve entered. I’ve been to this location a handful of times, and I’ve always had the same experience. You may be better off going inside.
Coffee is great. Especially love the nitro cold brew; unlike the national brand that shall remain nameless, the amount of foam is perfect.
Service is great, employees are always cheerful, welcoming, and quick.
The only reason I can't leave 5 stars, is the WiFi.
My phone (Pixel 7 pro) averages around 6mbps when connected to their network. My PC (Lenovo Yoga 7) fares even worse.
I have had these results whether the place was crowded or nearly empty, so I don't think its a traffic issue.
Would be Five Stars all day every day, if i could count on decent internet connection.
Good coffee. Not the biggest selection but over all very good. I didn't get a chance to try any pastries but they sure looked good.
This place is amazing! The coffee has a wonderful earthiness and the moon milk is a yummy addition to any drink. I like a Quarter Moon Vanilla Chai though the spicy chai version is equally great. The baristas are clean cut and polite and that’s saying something in this day and age. I just had to write this amazing review because the barista’s knowledgeable recommendations help me to customize my perfect drink and now they have a loyal customer for life. They took the time to learn exactly what I wanted to taste and helped me correctly order it so I knew exactly what I was getting and how to communicate it! 10 minutes of personalized customer service now brings me back in twice a week or more and that’s worth it to me!
Upon ordering my iced coffee I waited 10 minutes at the window before anyone greeted me or acknowledged me at the window. When they did open the window they just told me my total without apologizing. I paid and then proceeded to wait another 5 minutes before I got my iced coffee. Never received a discount or an explanation for why things were as slow as they were. I would have appreciated an apology or some acknowledgment. Lack of customer service this afternoon.
I was gonna leave a 3 star review, but the way I left ensured me to leave a two star review.
Here is my review scale: outstanding, awful and terrible. This place ranks awful.
I am a loyal summer moon regular, have been to many of the shops surrounding the Austin Metro area, this location is subpar. Someone here seems to be a cancer to the rest of the team.
Today’s experience broke the backs camel, super long waiting time in the driveway that I ended it up playing an episode of kill Tony just to kill time, the speaker sounded like it was messing up, I get to the window and attitude right off the bat, or a sense of “I hate my life” kind of day, I grab my drink and realize as I drive away that they completely gave me the wrong drink. I go back inside to ask for the right one and I get greeted with a “wassup” followed by “do you not want that drink? ” Girl! If I wanted it I would have driven away, of course I don’t want a drink I didn’t order that’s why I came back lol
Asks me to pour it out for her, hands me the right drink a few minutes later and not once did I hear her say: sorry about that, have a nice day, nothing. Y’all need to fix your attitudes in here and either get to work on time or hustle a little harder, I don’t think I need to tip for a thank you for you to do your job and say a simple “have a nice day” either.
This location is the closest one to me, but I would definitely drive farther out just to not have to deal with an unreliable location.
Take this criticism for the better. Be better.
I love Summer Moon and have been to most locations. My first time at this new location was my worst experience out of all of them. The pastries we ordered were hard and cold (not given the option of if we wanted them warmed), and the iced chai and iced matcha tea we got both tasted like plain milk with coloring. I’m not going to knock off a lot of stars because I know Summer Moon’s potential, and I would certainly re-try this location. I’m not sure if it was just the staff working that day, or if management at the new place hasn’t trained people up to the pat of other locations? Anywho, still a great typical Summer Moon ambiance.
The drive-through took 20 minutes (I'm not exaggerating), and once you are in line, there is no way to get out.
You are better off going inside.
When they first opened they did a great job. Within the last month, The last 3 times I’ve gone my coffee has not been consistent nor is my order. I’m not one to mark off a place after 1 mistake but 3 times already. I’ve been given the wrong tacos multiple times and my coffee order never tastes the same. They even had to ask me my order one time and gave me a wrong order. So disappointed because this was my go to place
A visit this location often and the customer service is top notch except for today I went by and did drive through and the service from your employee was not great. The employee working drive-through needs to have better customer service. This is why I’m leaving a 3 star review
Summer Moon Coffee Shop is an absolute gem for coffee enthusiasts seeking a wholesome and delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The combination of beautiful decor, soft lighting, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee created an inviting atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.
Now, let's talk about the coffee – it was simply divine! Each sip was a symphony of flavors, with a smoothness that lingered on the palate. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft, as every cup was expertly prepared, showcasing their dedication to quality and consistency.
The menu boasted an array of delectable options, from classic espresso-based beverages to creative signature blends. I couldn't resist trying their special Mint nitro cold brew, and it did not disappoint. The creamy sweetness perfectly complemented the rich coffee undertones, creating a harmonious balance that left me craving more.
Beyond the fantastic coffee, the staff's friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations based on personal preferences. It's evident that customer satisfaction is their top priority.
In conclusion, Summer Moon Coffee Shop is a haven for coffee lovers looking for both a comforting atmosphere and exceptional coffee. Whether you're a seasoned coffee connoisseur or just looking for a delightful place to unwind, this charming coffee shop has it all. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to savor their outstanding brews once again.
While my visit to this coffee shop was highly anticipated, as my friends raved about it, the experience unfortunately did not live up to the hype. The decor was a high point of the visit - it was tastefully done and set an inviting atmosphere.
However, the actual coffee - the heart and soul of any coffee shop - was merely okay. We tried their featured items expecting a unique and fulfilling experience but were left feeling quite underwhelmed.
Furthermore, the indoor temperature control could be better managed. The air conditioning was turned up to the point of discomfort, making it difficult to stay longer than 10 minutes.
On a positive note, I'm open to the idea that every place can have an off day. Given the high praise from my friends, I'm willing to give it another shot in the future. Here's hoping for a more stellar experience next time!
The staff is always super nice and I love the environment. Much better coffee than the previous coffee place that was at this location.
My only complaint is this particular location seems to run out of strawberry pop tarts. I say it’s about a 50/50 chance they have them. Still love going, just a bummer when they are out.
Nestled in a charming corner, Summer Moon Coffee welcomes you with the inviting scent of freshly roasted coffee beans and a cozy rustic ambiance. As soon as I stepped in, I knew this would become a favorite spot for me.
Their menu is refreshingly simple, focusing on high-quality coffee drinks and delectable pastries. Among their offerings, my personal favorite is the 1/2 Summer Moon Latte - a perfect blend of flavors that always leaves me satisfied.
The baristas at Summer Moon are not only friendly but also incredibly skilled, crafting each cup with precision and care. What sets them apart is their signature "moon milk, " adding a touch of sweetness and creaminess that elevates the entire coffee experience.
Another reason to love Summer Moon Coffee is their commitment to ethically sourced coffee beans, making your cup of joe feel even more satisfying and meaningful.
Whether you're seeking a place to relax, catch up with friends, or find some productivity with free Wi-Fi, the cozy environment at Summer Moon Coffee sets the perfect stage for your moments of delight.
From the first sip to the last crumb, this coffee shop has won me over. If you're a coffee lover or simply appreciate a great coffee shop experience, make sure to visit Summer Moon Coffee. I can't wait to return and create more memorable moments in this delightful haven.
So clean and bright, it smells AMAZING in here like freshly ground coffee. I got the half winter moon latte which tastes exactly like a Spanish latte (). I added a pump of lavender and it was DELICIOUS! Lots of outlets and good WiFi if you want to come here to work or study.
They refer to their hot latte as summer latte and cold latte as winter latte.and the amount of sweet milk is measured in different phases of the moon.the coffee is soooo good that I happily learned their lingo!
