Summit Park, Carrollton TX

This apartment community has to be listed amongst the worst of the worst. There are many reasons not to move here. I was able to move out but feel awful for those who currently reside there. Reasons not to move here:

Rude office personnel (as notated from other reviewers)
Shoddy work repairs which are not safe - Code Enforcement was called
Parking - I believe you are only allowed 2 stickers per unit and there are multiple families living together - hence all the street parking
Vandalism and Theft
Posted office hours are listed as 08: 30am to 5pm but staff usually doesn't arrive until 10am and leave early
Office staff does not answer phone and they do not have a system in place to place maintenance requests
Maintenance Staff and office personnel enter units without permission
Safety Issues with crime - there is not a Courtesy Officer onsite
People discharging their firearms in the Parking lot
Pest Control Issue

I have reported many of these concerns to the Carrollton City Councilman and hopefully something gets done. The name of the managing company is Devonshire Realty and they are in Dallas. Hopefully they read my review and address these issues. To Devonshire Realty - you REALLY NEED TO CONSIDER firing those ladies in the leasing office. Many residents have expressed how rude and disrespectful they are. I am just more vocal. And to the wannabe property manager calling me a Mexican Karen (hahaha) hey if reporting unsafe living conditions and crime makes a Mexican Karen, I will gladly embrace that title!

Muy mal servicio de la señora en la oficina Bad service literally horrible the lady in the office don’t know what she’s doing she’s really rude literally helpless do not live here they ask for to much just for a sticker for parking a new car doesn’t deserve any stars literally that’s how bad it is lol
