Sophia is a great PT! I got to her practice with a horrible neck injury and she worked patiently with me for months until the issue was resolved. She knows many different techniques and she applies them depending on your pain level and tolerance. I highly recommend her!

Sophia is a fantastic physical therapist. She is knowledgeable and compassionate, and she truly cares about her patients. I had been to several other physical therapists before I found Sophia, but she was the only one who was able to help me get back to my normal activities. I have been a loyal patient of hers ever since.

Ive had problems with my shoulders rotator cuff for YEARS (even after having surgery) and finally decided to seek professional therapy after not being able to take the pain any more. After being recommended this place, Im beyond more then satisfied because within the first visit my shoulder was feeling better.

And now after going for about a little over 7-8 visits, my shoulder is feeling the best it every has and im truly impressed and thankful i found this place. Im able to workout and not be so worried about my shoulder popping out frequently while doing everyday activities aswell.

Sophia is amazing. I had tried multiple physical therapist before my chiropractor recommended me to her for my frozen shoulder. Many physicians were not even able to diagnose my issue. The day I met her, she was pretty confident that she will be able to fix it. Be it the meticulous notes she takes, the way she walks through the exercises, the way she really narrows down the problem area. It is great! I will be ever grateful to her for curing my frozen shoulder. Highly recommend!

Following shoulder surgery, I have been receiving PT weekly from Sun Physical Therapy. Prior to this, my shoulder had unremitting pain. I now am almost completely pain free. The exercises & manual therapy are improving my shoulder’s range of motion and further reducing my remaining pain. I highly recommend Sun Physical Therapy.

Sophia is awesome! I’ve notice a lot of shoulder pain and neck pain after my daughter was born. It was very hard to breast feed her without feeling so much pain in my shoulder & neck. Even carrying her was painful. After seeing Sophia the pain has greatly subsided. We’re still working on my neck but so far I’m seeing improvement!

Sophia's the best, I have chronic pain from hypermobility and have gone to 4 other PTs over the years, but she's the only one I've had any improvement with. Plus, going to doctors is usually a pretty stressful experience, but Sophia is just a genuinely kind person, and I always feel good after seeing her.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Sun Physical Therapy. I spent few weeks researching physical therapy locations in my area and I chose Sun Physical Therapy because the therapist, Sophia Maines, had excellent credentials and provided more personal therapy. Other physical therapy organizations seemed to be more like personal training, than physical therapy. I am an older person and did not want to spend most of my session at a weight machine or tread mill.

Sophia Maines provided fabulous service, which addressed the issues I had. I began seeing and feeling positive results after two (2) physical therapy sessions. Sophia Maines always began each session by checking how I was feeling and if I had any concerns. The personalized service was wonderful. I will definitely come back to Sun Physical Therapy when I need more therapy.

Sophie is the best physical therapist I’ve ever seen. Within a month of seeing her my pain was drastically reduced. She always goes above and beyond. She makes sure that whatever she is doing works for you as an individual. She doesn’t treat everyone’s pain the same. She introduced me to needling which has been God sent. If you want to leave your pain behind then I cannot recommend Sophie enough. She is the best at her field.

This was my first time doing physical therapy. I had tried massage, acupuncture, and herbal treatment for frozen shoulder and was just not getting any promising results. Working with Sophia was truly a life-changing experience. At this review, I am back to 100% mobility and strength.
She is a straightforward, generous, holistic, and unselfish provider. And at the top of her game with regard to research and current best practice.

I went to Sophia about 2 years post shoulder surgery. I had done PT post operatively and was discharged at about 90% recovery. Two years later and that 10% restriction turned into pain and partial immobility. I looked for someone who did dry needling because I knew that's what I needed. I was super excited to see that not only was she close, but she took my insurance too! I love that she is a solo practitioner (she does have one PT who covers when she's out). There's no "front desk". You just go in, get better and leave! Her dry needling skills are remarkable and oh so effective. She also uses Graston to treat scar tissue and I loved it so much I incorporated it into my own practice. I'm a massage therapist and have worked with many PTs and I can highly recommend Sophia at Sun Physical Therapy.

I want to say that I was in pain and had a hard time with daily functions… after several sessions I am feeling much better and happy to of gone to my appointments… Thank you Sophia…. You are the best and you are so very nice during my treatments…I am so glad I found you.
