Sunny's Tailor, Colleyville TX

Based off a recommendation from a friend, we went to Sunny's for a prom dress tailor job. To be fair, the work on the straps and the hem seems to be very well done. At the initial fitting, I expressed concern about the problems we were having with the zipper- it would not work properly all the time. She explained the zipper was fine you just need to grab the material and force it up. Fast forward to this weekend (one week before prom) when my daughter tried the dress on and the zipper would not pull up at all. No grab and tug- nothing. My daughter went in on Monday and showed the zipper to her but the tailor said there was nothing wrong with the zipper and put on some wax to help it zip better. My daughter asked if she could try on the dress to show her what was happening and the tailor said no. The tailor said she did not have time to get it fixed anyway. We found a tailor in Keller this evening that took one look at the zipper and said it's broken and that's why it won't zip up. That tailor is going to fix it by the end of the week. That tailor understood the crisis and worked to fix it.

Had a few friends recommend Sunny's because I needed some pants taken up, and was greeted with a very poor experience and attitude here. Arrived at 3: 00PM (Closes at 5: 00) and was greeted like I was some kind of criminal and she said. "I'M CLOSED, too many customers, not taking anymore. " Very rudely. I get having a rough day and needing to cap your business, but it was the whole "get out of my store' nature that sealed the deal for me. No "I'm sorry, would you like to reschedule" or anything like that. She clearly has too much business, and I'd recommend going somewhere else. I shared my experience with those who referred Sunny's and they were disappointed and will take their business elsewhere. Hope you have better luck if you go.or maybe go earlier before you get the "B-Side" of her.
