Sunrise RV Resort, Fulton TX

We’ve stayed in numerous RV parks in the Rockport area, and this is one of the best. We absolutely love keeping our Rv year around at the Sunrise RV Resort. Nice and clean, shade trees, friendly manager. Nice pool, laundry room, shower houses, and so close to everything that you need.

Good little campground, quiet for the most part. Make reservations online, but owners are just a phone call away if you need help. Pull through had gravel around cement pad. It really helped because it was pouring rain last night.

We have stayed here for several winters and one spring. It's a clean, safe, and affordable park to stay. It is a 6 minute walk to the shore, and under 10 minutes to the Fulton Pier and Park. They have a small pool, 2 full bathroom/showers, and a good laundry.

So on a whim I purchased a 42 foot RV. What was I thinking? I was thinking I wanted to get away to the coast for a couple of months in the summer. So I did. I found this Sunrise Rv Resort through a local YouTuber that drives around and Rates all the RV parks in the Rockport, Fulton up to Port A areas. I like the look of this one and decided to go with it. I have to say I loved the RV Resort. It was not too big or too small. The owner takes a lot of pride in keeping the resort up and you will see him every day taking care of the property. There is a nice laundry room and bathrooms with showers that needs a code to get into them which is really nice and safe. The RV resort is maybe one eighth of a mile from the coast perfect for early morning walks along the waters. I would recommend this place to anyone that is staying just for the weekend or like me wants to stay a couple of months. The perks for me, since I work remotely, was that their Internet was stong and fast I was able to connect my Blink doorbell and all the electronics inside without any lag. This allowed me to connect securely to my hotspot without any devices pulling on the data.

This is a great little park. Lots of trees and really quiet. There is a little city noise but we didn't mind because we also wanted to be close to the restaurants and activities. I would recommend this park and we hope to come back! Btw.water and power all work.no issues at all.

We just moved into a lot here and so far have loved the quietness of this park! We back up to Hwy 35 and while yes you can hear the highway traffic it's soothing at the same time! Glad to have landed a spot here at Sunrise!

Place is super cute. It's right in the heart of Rockport. The area is super nice and well taken care of. They have built a pool but I dont know when they'll open it. My parents and I really enjoy coming here. Next door is a bar you can walk to and down the road are places to eat. You're also not far from the water at all.

I'm trying to be fair about this because were staying here for the week of the big freeze in Feb 2021. No water and no power nearly all week and temps well below freezing. Not the park's fault as the city cut water to the entire town and TX just plain screwed up the power grid. But the park is nice and in good shape otherwise. Short distance to the water and marina area. There is some significant traffic noise from Hiway 35 right outside the fence and being under an airport approach for small planes. There is a nice little laundry facility and they are working on adding a pool. There is a fair amount of shade, roads and parking are paved. New sod throughout park with a sprinkler system. Recommended.

This park feels homey, nice trees, enough space between neighbors. Fair amount of long term and snow birds. Everyone is respectful, tidy, and quiet. The owners are responsive and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us extend our stay. Prices are about the most reasonable you will find around here, yet have a nice place to stay.

Beautiful place. Cool breezes from.the bay. Close and convenient to everything. Beautiful trees. Large concrete patios with little lawns. Level concrete runners to park on

This place is amazing and John and Nick are still putting in new sites. The are sweet, patient men and listen to you even if they are busy.

Moved over to this rv resort from rv park next door. Reason for the move, 3 times the lot space, high def tv 40 ch, 40 regular chs.included. Wi-Fi through out the park powerful enough for movies on all sites, grass so thick and soft even a barefoot old Nebraska retired person can enjoy the lawn, walking distance to the Bay, Post office, restaurant, bars, family Dollar, close to the main shopping for all your needs, 1 to 3 mile drive. Shade tree or full sun, whatever you want for all seasons. For me, just a short drive to the best fishing in the coastal bend with 17 different kayak launch's. Not to mention the owners are the best. Will be back earlier than last year and staying later. Michael and Deb

Great resort, owner is an awesome guy, very kind and helpful. Do not go to ransom road rv come here.

Our first time being a "snow bird" from Nebraska couldn't have been better. John and Nick are the best. We admire their hard work of making the resort a clean friendly place to be. See you guys next year.

Ok, let me start by saying this, the owners are awesome! They went above and beyond to help us, there was a small hiccup in scheduling, but was resolved fast, nick thank you, and John thank you for being in constant contact. The park is coming along awesome, from the damage Harvey caused, to what it is now! Beautiful! Nice shade trees and a short walk to the water! Can’t wait to see the final product,!
