I am in medical school, and I was looking forward to a week off and finally had the chance to sleep past 5 am for the first time in 1.5 years. I was extremely excited to come to this park for a vacation in rural texas thinking it would be relaxing and peaceful. I was EXTREMELY MISTAKEN by this assumption that it would be peaceful. In the middle of rural Leander this park has a gate that doesn’t keep out the one thing causing a major disturbance to this park, the ROOSTERS! There are about 10 roosters that start crowing at 4: 30 AM every morning underneath your RV which lasts all morning and sounds like a pterodactyl is dying right beneath your bed even with ear plugs in. IT WAS MISERABLE and I would not recommend staying here.
In addition, the wifi barely worked and phone service was minimal. The gate code pad is way too close to the gate.

Sunset Ranch RV Park is a quite, small gated community. It's beautiful here.

Had a great 6 week stay here. Park is very clean and organized, and the WiFi is exceptional. We’d like to thank the management for working with us due to unforeseen health circumstances. We will stay again and would highly recommend to everyone.

It is a quite, small gated community. It's beautiful here. Deer come out of the woods in the evening time. I am taking a star away, only bc there isn't a dog park. It is dog friendly. Dogs need to be able to run free and not stay on a leash. After they stayed coup up in a small rv with the owner, we both could use a space to run.

Not worth the stay. We had two spots reserved as we did some contract work In the area. Accounting was always off, did not give us back our security deposits or notify us of electricity bills, just continued to charge our card even after we had long left the park. They said we left trash behind (fire pit) which had been there the whole two months we were and had been left behind by previous tenants along with a bunch of cigarette butts. Management is very unprofessional and does not keep track of payments etc at all. We had an electricity bill of $110 one month and mysteriously a $250 bill the following month which was the month we left. If you have all the time in the world to argue with people who don’t know how to add basic numbers then by all means this is the park for you. I don’t have the time or patience to deal with their ignorance.

Nice little place to stay and get away from it all. They are looking to add a swimming pool which would really make it a cool place to stay for a weekend or more. The only downside is a huge housing community is being built close by, so it might not feel like you are away from everything if that is what you are seeking. Still worth a few days of solitude and relaxing though.
