Super 8 by Wyndham Garland North Dallas Area reviews
14This place should be shut down. All the drains are backed up. The towels are filthy. They don't provide shampoo. The bed appears to found in someone's trash. Blood and boogers on the wall. Floor is sticky. If the daily cost to stay was $1 it would be too much. Stay away at all costs
Interesting location, the room was alright. Was in expected shape based on previous reviews. Cheapest rates in Dallas that I could find without going to a motel. So thats a plus.
Wish I took more pictures, it could use a remodel and some updating.
In-room tub wasn't working.
My first comment on the internet. Blood on the walls, weed on the floor, pee in the stairs, bugs in the bed, what else? No pool, no safe, no breakfast. Windows barely closed, so you can't determine if there is more noise from the bed, the neighbors, the Highway or the train. Elevator out of order, laundry out of order. Fire alarm during the night. One night, keys for the whole guest not working and nobody at the desk. "guests" wandering in the corridors like in the walking dead. Cleaning not done before our arrival (and will surely not be done after). Peoples leaving their kids alone the night to go to "work" Etc.etc. The whole desciption of this hotel you can find on the internet is a lie. I really felt unsafe there. Dont do the same mistake, never ever go there unless you are looking for inspiration for your future horror movie.
This place is probably one of the most dirty, nasty, awful places ever. I checked in, and they gave me a key to my first room. When opened the door, a person was in my shower and smoke was escaping the room from a cigarette. Previous guest should be gone at 11am and I checked in at 3: 30, and someone was in my room. That's is a safety issue all the way around. What if that was me in a shower and someone came in and took an opportunity to do something. Or the guest just got out and was exposed. Ridiculous. Then I get my second room and it's probably the nastiest and underwhelming things I've ever seen. 3 out of 5 outlets where out, there was no hot water, the toilet is cracked, the bath has mold AND leaked. The AC blew hot air no matter what you set it as, the window doesn't lock, the bed had no sheets, no pillow cases, two lumpy pillows, a plastic wrapped smoke alarm, a broken coffee pot, no hot water, a broken hotel kitchen (so no breakfast) and the curtain was ripped. The health departments and fire department need to be involved ASAP.
Not anything like other locations. This location the rooms were very small and old looking
The place is filthy, the rooms are out dated dirty, smells of mold and Marijuana. Parking area is a hangout spot for druggies/dealers. Smoke detectors hanging off the walls, stained linens. But they did return my payment to my cc promptly.
G.awful room barely clean, ciggrette burns in sink paint on sink hot water for tub a trickle. Lamps broken lamp shade missing. Help at the desk, "sorry we are remodling" pool closed.
The place wasn't bad it was all the homeless people around the area that made it seem bad. With 635 construction it really hurts this location but the owner cares about his customers. If you ever have a problem ask for G.
I wish they had a warning sign before you booked in. Because of their being under renovation there is no breakfast or going to the pool and fitness center. But if you're on a budget this is a good place to go the service is good and management what are nice.
It's an okay place to crash for a night or two if you're running on money but it wouldn't be my first recommendation in that area
The elevator should have had a "Out of service" sign before we used it. The walls had human DNA left on them, and it smelled really bad. This hotel also promoted coffee. I was told the coffee mechine was in the room. We arrived to the room and there was no coffee mechine. Suspicious activity was also going on. Probably explains the bad smells.
This is the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in that cost $80. There IS NO excuse! Don't stay here! Motel 6 is an upgrade
Luckily we were able to cancel and get a better hotel this one was dirty and nasty looking didn't even want to sit in the lobby.
