Super 8 by Wyndham Kenedy

Avoid staying here! If it's the last hotel in Kenedy consider just sleeping in your car. First, the rate you see online won't be what you really end up paying, so don't think you're getting a good deal and it will be OK for the night.
Second, I was charged twice for the same room and when I asked the desk to reverse one, they can't because "the system".
The rooms are very worn down and the beds uncomfortable, even for a budget joint like this. Save yourself some frustration and keep looking.

Great stay. Clean room. Nice friendly staff. Kitchenette was very usefull for longer stays. All the rooms have Kitchenettes.

Disgusting roach motel. Smells bad. Nasty lobby, nasty hallway. There was a partially USED water bottle sitting on the bedside table when i checked in. My company booked this hotel for me. I checked in and immediately checked out, I was not staying at this DUMP. This hotel need to be PERMANENTLY shut down. Do not stay here. After i informed my company about how disgusting the Super 8 is, My company booked me at The Best Western which was so much better.

Hallways and stairs have not been cleaned in a long time rooms r ok house keeping needs new training

The room was really nice, but the integrity of the owners is questionable. I was charged 7 different charges of over 250 each. My bank slowly returned it to my cc. The last night I had company. The dog charge was $10 and 150 depo if Room was ok. Or he would not charge depo if I stayed another week? Again, where is the integrity?

I was on 3rd floor, water pressure was low. The floor was cover in laminate which is weird for me, no carpet or rugs. TV was small. They have great truck parking.

I only spent a small amount of time here. It was very clean and a nice hotel. The reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because I lost a very sentimental item at this hotel and as soon as they found it they called and let me know they would keep it safe until I could go back to get it. Thank you so much. God Bless the people at this hotel.

Nice kitchenette hotel; never seen a Super 8 Extended Stay before. Service every day and sheet change every other day is a deal breaker! Breakfast in the morning was from 4 AM to 9 AM. WHAT? ! Never had a hotel serve breakfast so early that our crew was able to eat before going to work. One of the best stays I have had in a while.

I would give zero stars if I could. First there was no attendant at front desk to check in and it took 10 minutes to find someone. Whole place stunk and the floor they put us on smelt like cigarettes even though the rooms are non smoking. Room they assigned us was already occupied. Nothing like the pictures.

Dirty and run down, in dire need of an overhaul. I know times are tough, but come on, one bath towel, half a roll of TP, no wifi, no pool, and the list goes on.just because you want to be an "economy" hotel doesn't mean you have to look the part. How Wyndam has their name attached to it, makes it even worse. Had we known before hand, absolutely no way we'd have brought our kids here. Lesson learned.might even avoid Wyndham all together if this is the kind of place it sticks their name to.

Do you miss that old locker room smell from high school? Get nostalgic about living in noisy apartments? Well the Super 8 in Kenedy is for you. What a dump. Good luck getting fresh sheets and towels. The front desk could care less. Worn out carpets, a graffitied elevator, drab and run-down rooms. My buddy's refrigerator went out and the manager did nothing about it, even with repeated complaints.

While customer service was good. The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful, but aside from that this wasn't it. The cleanliness and up keep of the rooms were a NO! NO! The owners really need to start inspecting these rooms twice a month for detailed cleaning as well as wear and tear. When I entered the room had a very stale smell, there's definitely signs of mold forming in the room. It was very dusty and looks like the last time it was wiped down a dirty rag was used. Let not get on the bathroom with the loose toilet seat, mildew shower head protruding shower handle and faucet from the wall. For the price that was charged the room was unexceptable in cleanliness and quality.

Room was dirty. Woke up with the sore back. Lots of hot water for shower. People in out all hours of the night. It was a $50 room for sure.

Very clean, good prices, and Mr Kumar housekeeping always makes sure we have everything we need every day. They treat us like family. Highly recommend

Friendly staff but it was pretty gross. If you stay there, exchange the bedding for a fresh set! Also, make sure you have plenty of Clorox wipes on hand.you will need it
