There's is a cooking school on site.

It's a high-end store but the goods are great quality.

Unfortunately, both cooking class experiences I purchased were cancelled by Sur La Table. I was told it was due to private function being booked. I found this very disappointing due to having booked my experiences as a gift months prior. Also, their tone deaf customer service emailed me after the cancellation asking how my experience was (both times) 1/5 is the answer.

I don't know if the staff is racist or just lazy. They totally ignored my wife when she went to the counter for a pickup but when i walked to the same employee, they immediately addressed me.

The ambiance was impeccable and the chef that taught us was patient ans helpful. She kept the class fun. I have a lot of food allergies that they accommodated for, so that's always a plus!

WOuld have loved to buy something but couldn’t get a single person to help me. Staff walking by and helping others while i sat there… ill spend money elsewhere.

Horrible experience. Our so called chef (more like a confused cook) was unorganized and her timing was horrible. We we’re served raw chicken. The reason is, chicken had to be put in their oven to complete cooking proses because of her mismanagement of time. Left hungry

Took one of the cooking classes. Made pumpkin spice macarons. Karen, our instructor was great. Staff in the store were friendly and helpful. Meet some great folks during the class. Took home some tasty treats. All in all well worth the time.

We had a great time at the Date Night Cooking Class with Chef JoB. It was well worth it.

FYI, If you are booking in Houston at City Centre for a Date Night, do forget to bring your wine.

Chef Richard and the SLT staff put on an awesome team builder for my team and were kind enough to accommodate us even though we were a bit larger than the average cooking class. We had a blast and I highly recommend this location for group events. Thanks again!

10 year old Daughter loves the Summer Camps. She attended last year and asked to go again this year for two weeks.
We also just had her birthday party there. The Staff prepared a special menu to accommodate our dietary needs, confirmed everything ahead of time. The kids had a wonderful time and even the picky ones enjoyed the food they prepared. A great time was had by all and Mom and Dad didn't have to do any work at all!

We took Chef Richard’s French baking class and had an amazing time! We made profiteroles, Madeleines and Financiers. I’m not really much of a baker so I was a little nervous but the chef took the time to teach us techniques and gave us great tips on each recipe! We went home and made profiteroles that night! They were just as delicious as in class but not quite as pretty! I can’t wait to take our next class!

Took an amazing cooking class with Chef Richard. Had an absolutely amazing time and it was a great learning experience.

The food was amazing, the class was great, the teacher did a good job of making sure the food turned out well. Would be better if you went in a group of 4.

My wife and I joined the Flavors of Italy cooking class today and loved it. The food was delicious, but Chef Joe absolutely made the class worthwhile. She is awesome.

We have been here many of times. My wife and I have come for cooking classes like almost a half dozen time.

This is a cooking fans/enthusiasts dream. If you can't find it here not sure where you would. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chefs teaching the classes are great.

We just introduced our teenage boys to making homemade pasta. They had a good time and stuffed themselves at the same time.

I know we will be back again.

So much FUN! Went for pasta at home cooking class! We had the most amazing time! You can bring your own bottle of wine and drink while you are cooking, nearby store that will cork for you too. The instructor, Candice, was knowledgable and made everything so simple. We will be back!

We miss the Sugar Land location. But this place has all the great service Sur is known for.

The staff is of the friendliest and some really good specialty items for the kitchen. I enjoy walking through the store once every two weeks to see their new items and gadgets.
