Sushi Cafe & Bar, Denton TX

Love coming here. Employees are always wearing masks and if I order there instead of ahead the food is ready quick with little wait time. They clearly care about current events as they always have a reliable news channel playing on the TV. Food is also delicious and portions are fillings.

Excellent food and service! My partner and I placed an order for a California roll and a lunch bento through UberEats and the food was ready for pickup in less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately Uber's version of the menu didn't specify that the California roll came with mayo (I blame Uber for this), but when we called the restaurant they offered to remake it for us. The manager and hostess were very kind and our order was remade quickly. Once we had the kinks worked out the food was excellent. I will be happily returning to this location again.

I lived in Japan for 6 years and moved a year ago. I can say that this place is hands down the closest i’ve come in america to good tasting sushi! Omgggggg it’s so worth it! I will be a regular here (i ate some before the pic because i usually don’t take pictures but this was needed haha)

We love there sushi so much. I have been going to this place for 14 years. Back when they were in the original location. Love their stuff. Wish they can open dining again

2021 Edit: They survived! Food is still great, you can get delivery through a bunch of apps now, and the service is quick!

First time ordering. I’m not a big fan of sweet sushi. And for whatever reason they put this creamy white sauce on like every single roll we ordered. There were 4 different rolls. I did check and not all of them are supposed to come with it.

God awful sushi and the noodles were undercooked in my noodle dish. I don’t know if I just had bad luck and they just didn’t try or something but I couldn’t even finish my first bite of my sushi because it was so bad. First and last time eating here

We order from here frequently (about 2-3 times a month) without issue until tonight, Mara was completely unprofessional and outright disrespectful when we called about the lack of wasabi in our take out. Ended up being one of the strangest interactions we’ve had in a long time.will be taking out business else where moving forward. Sad to see one of our favorite sushi places going down hill.

I simply love their dishes. I always get awesome service here. The place is well organised and the workers are always helpful. Keep up the good work.

Ordered sushi for pickup, when I got home noticed it didn't come with wasabi, that's ok no big deal but I wanted to call back to see if their sushi was supposed to come with wasabi or if I needed to order separately in the future. Mara answered, she was extremely condescending, unpleasant, and rude. Mara refused to acknowledge whether it was a mistake or on purpose, told me they didn't need the business. Absurd customer service, sickening in a time when you want to support local businesses, last time customer for sure because of Mara

Definitely enjoyed the Donkatsu and Chicken Catsu Bento Boxes. This is a favorite of mine and my girlfriends'. The gyoza is also exceptional!

Currently only offering take out. The cashier was super friendly and chatted with me while I waited on my order. The sushi is always amazing! Highly recommend!

The food is okay, and the people are nice, but the restaurant consistently gets orders wrong. It’s too much of a hassle to deal with when there are many other sushi places in the area that pay attention to their work. Nice selection of vegetarian rolls.

My sushi rolls were not fresh and specifically, the avocado was old. The poor unsustainable packaging made the sushi slide around in the sauce, thus making them a slop mess.
