I am pregnant and wanted an California roll so bad. I ordered it to go, it was perfect! Going back for more soon. Price was very convenient

The brown rice with veggies tasted burnt and I ordered a roll and got something else. I wasted $13 at this place for that yucky food.

I have been a loyal customer of this place for years and I enjoyed everything about this place until today. First of all, WHY were the tablets used to place orders with taken away and replaced with flimsy paper menus? I had to wait 20+ minutes for two rolls to come out. It was not crowded and I would have understood if it was very busy but this was unacceptable. I observed my order sitting on the wrong side of the belt for 5 minutes while your employees did nothing. Also I would recommend that you not have Fox News on your television sets as this made my experience very uncomfortable. Political trash does not belong in a restaurant, especially when children are present as they do not need to be exposed to it. I was so mad that I left a one cent tip with your server. I only hope that this is a temporary thing and that you bring back the tablets and to change the channel to something more acceptable or I will not be back. At this point I would like an immediate and prompt apology and for the staff to be retrained. I will be contacting whoever is in charge of this restaurant.

EDIT: I submitted a complaint on their website on the day this issue happened (Sept 30) but nobody has responded or issued an apology.

Absolutely nasty! I am sure most of these reviews are fake. Waitress was inattentive and not really friendly; had to ask several times for a fork. Ordered a ramen and it had an off taste, didn't finish it and a lot of the noodles were clumped together. Sushi rice had too much vinegar seemed to be sitting out for awhile. Honestly it is the worst restaurant I have ever been to.

This is wonderful! The sushi is super duper good! The happy hour is also pretty solid for it's minimal selection also it's not everything for $2 during their happy hour, that should be fixed a bit to clarify it and not cause confusion for new customers haha. But it's definitely worth coming by if you're locally established! It's really good!

I've always been a fan of Sakura for its unique dining experience, specifically the conveyor belt system and the digital kiosk for orders. However, my recent visit 10/09/23 was quite disappointing. The owner decided to remove the digital kiosks, presumably to cut costs, and this decision completely changed overall experience.

With the kiosks, ordering was a breeze – vivid pictures, clear descriptions, and was fun anticipating your chosen dish whizzing towards you on the conveyor belt. Now, you are left with traditional paper menus which are not as intuitive or visually appealing. The food on the conveyor (that night) was very limited in choice (maybe 5-6) Moreover, without the kiosks, there’s an increased reliance on the limited waitstaff, leading to much longer waiting times and a diminished experience. And-the kids loved playing on them (since we dont allow Ipads at the table, the games were fun).

The appeal of Sakura wasn't ever the quality of the sushi but the unique and super fast ordering process. By trying to "save a buck", the owner has inadvertently detracted from the very essence of what made Sakura unique. The added inconvenience to customers and the undue burden on the staff seems a shortsighted move. The cost savings from removing the kiosks will likely be eclipsed by the loss of clients and waitstaff. Not being petty. Look at your one other coopetitor. (name omitted) Revolving Sushi Bar not only has the kiosk, they have a robot that brings you drinks, and surprise toys that pop down to your table. You removed 1/2 your business experience/value add.

We spent $73 bucks on a dinner we could have had up the street at Sushi Hanna, with better food and an expected 1hr in length. We'll be driving by Sakura next time.

Loved the revolving sushi bar! And even though it is self-serve, the hostess/waitress was so attentive! Good pricing as well! I most enjoyed the maguro, and a roll on a yellow dish, but I couldn't tell you the name of it, even after looking at the menu! Favorite part was seeing the words on the dishes!

Came in late about 2 hours before closing so that's my bad.
Waitress: did not explain anything nor did she check up on us.
That said pretty self-explanatory sushi on conveyor belt, pick up sushi, eat and leave plate on the table and just stack as you go. At the end they count your plates up. All sushi is of varying prices which is listed on the menu. Downside you don't know which sushi is which, you have to match up with the menu constantly. I think you can order straight from the waitress but because our waitress never explained nor came over we didn't get to try or experience it.
The sushi itself was good I think because I came later in the day there wasn't a lot of variety.

We've been coming here for 3 years. I'd previously left a great review. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. There were literally two plates of fresh sushi (ordered) where the sauce used (eel) and the fish tasted off, we left them uneaten. They've changed suppliers you can tell. Quality of fish, food in general is not good. The iced tea is frequently oversteeped giving the tea a terrible taste. I get saving money it's tough but I'd rather pay more for quality. It was a great run.

- The sushi on the belt is super dry because it’s been there since morning
- fried rice has been fried on some bad quality oil
- the sauce with veggies super sweet and probably full of corn syrup, which is cancerous
- the floor in the restroom is super sticky! Disgusting!

First trip to a carousel style sushi. It was so good. The lobster sushi was amazing. They also have really good stuffed Jalapeños.

I tried one other conveyer sushi place in the Memorial area and it was sorry. This place is really good. I had three different rolls off the conveyer and they were all three excellent. I'm not out this way too often but if I am, I will definitely be back.

This restaurant is more for the conveyer belt sushi experience rather than going out to eat quality sushi. It was definitely a fun dining experience, but probably somewhere you’d only need to visit once. I’d say order the more “fusion” type dishes- the rolls, cooked food, etc.rather than ordering the nigiri. It’s not authentic but it’s good! If you want a more authentic experience, this isn’t the place. The restaurant was understaffed as well, but otherwise the service was alright.

Good food and sweet staff, just seemed a bit.unorganized? We're ' go with the flow' people, just seemed like the kitchen needed more help. We were more confused than upset, but overall had a wonderful experience

The sushi coming out is fresh and delightful! Plenty of options to choose from. The servers are extremely attentive and your drink is never empty. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Prices are incredibly reasonable, too.
