SWEET MOMENT NAIL AND PEDI SPA, Houston TX

Needed a mani/pedi in rush - not only was the service done perfectly, I had 15 minutes to spare! Next time, I’ll take my time, but great to know it’s possible to get rush service in a pinch!

All their furniture is infested with bugs that crawl on you while getting your nails done & the techs aren’t very skilled at all. Take your money elsewhere. Trust me.

Sweet Moment is my absolute go-to for my mani/pedi. The salon is clean, luxurious, and most importantly consistent. The staff are friendly, courteous and make you feel comfortable. Kristy does an amazing job on my nails. She takes her time and always gets it right. Prices are what I would find at most places and the staff will let you know if something is extra before they do it. This salon is Top Notch!

DELIVERY DRIVERS BEWARE! This business does not tip delivery drivers and they like to remove tips after delivery is complete. This is called tip bating. It's sad that a business will do this when delivery drivers help their business stay up and running. Do not go to this place!

They were very rude and acted like they were inconvenienced by my daughter and I just getting our nails painted. Very poor custom service! I will never go back again.

HORRIBLE PLACE! BEWARE! The male manger is rude and does not fix nails that his horrible techs mess up. Your nails will be messed up the very next day! Service was TRASH and nails continue to break the EVERYDAY. DO NOT SERVICE THIS LOCATION! THEY ARE RACIST AND RUDE! THEY ARE LIARS.

Addition-Like I said everything in this review is true. The owner/manager is just as pathetic as the incompetent useless nail techs. Stick to making Chinese food and stay out of the American customer service industry

Tracy did a fantastic job on my pedicure! From the moment we started talking about the color I wanted to the end of my neck massage, she had excellent customer service. I will be a returning customer!

Wendy is so great. The place is so warm and inviting. I felt so comfortable in there. Smell so good and very quiet and peaceful. I will be coming back. She did my nails so good. I never had my nails done this good before. Great customer service. Wendy took her time.

Worst nails I have ever gotten. I wasted two hours of my life here and didn't even get what I asked. The man at the front desk had such a bad attitude from the beginning. Such poor quality nails that I wish I could rip off. I SHOWED them as pic of exactly what I wanted BEFORE starting which was a simple French with studs all over. Didn't even get studs and at the end acted crazy and that it would be even more extra although they had already quoted me a price at the beginning.
When I asked if I can come back to remove they wouldn't even do that.
I am so embarrassed to even show my nails I will be painting with something over.

I’ve been to this place regularly (twice a month) for years, seen three different changes in ownership and the quality of their services go down significantly each time. I kept coming back and giving them chances hoping they might get better. I’ve left with cuts and scrapes on my fingers and toes and still didn’t make it a big deal. Past few times they charged an extra fee for reshaping the nails. My last visit, I asked the tech to just file the nails and she still charged the extra fee claiming she changed the shape. When I said something, the owner acted like he was doing me a favor by waiving the fee. If you want to raise your prices due to inflation, do it ethically. I would’ve gladly paid it but to be tricked into paying it isn’t going to work.

I definitely don’t recommend this place and will never go back. The owner’s response below shows how much they know their clients. The “system” they mention to keep track of clients consists of a hand written journal where they take down your first name and time of appointment, which is usually not honored. You’ll be waiting after you make an appointment nonetheless. I can’t believe I gave them so many chances. Like many others have said, it’s not worth the trip to this place.

My experience here is always great! The technicians are so pleasant and they actually care for my nails. Not just making them pretty but they take the time to make sure my nails are strong. I’m usually indecisive with color and they always help me pick which is best. Today Wendy did my nails and suggested a design. I left so happy!

I just love the pedicures I get here! Other places do not work off the callouses much or massage your neck and shoulders so thoroughly and well. Jennifer is especially gifted in all of it.

I have been a customer at Sweet Moments for about 4 years now, and every time I come in for a visit, I always leave satisfied. The employees have impeccable customer service and the facilities are always clean. You don't get slapped in the face with the smell of acetone when you walk in the front door like you might at other nail salons. In all my time as a customer here, I have only had 1 bad experience, in which my nails were not done correctly (dip was too thin and it cracked after a couple of days, dip nail bed was lumpy). I called to make an appointment to get this corrected, and upon my arrival, the manager made sure that I was taken care of by one of their best nail techs. He reassured me and told me to never feel embarrassed about speaking up when I am unsatisfied with their services, and that they would happily correct whatever I wasn't satisfied with. I recommend Sweet Moments to anyone that asks me where I get my nails done because it's always such a relaxing experience for me.

The ambiance was very calming and peaceful. I really appreciate the lavender theme and cleanliness.

In addition to, their color selection was on point.

The thing is I felt the lady I had was moving too fast with my nail process.
I had a manicure w/shellac. It seemed to be an easy to the point procedure to complete. But, she was rushing.

I had my nails done on Sunday, June 3rd and here it is my index finger color polish has been removed a little. And, the mail color looks as if the polish is bleeding over into my nail-bed.

I love my nails, they turn out exactly as I want. The Jelly pedicure was great with the shoulder massage. The shop is clean and staffs are friendly, I definitely come back.
