Sweetwater Inn

The room were cozy, and the beds were nice and firm pillows were clean beds were clean I don’t watch TV but the TVs need some work. Shower needs may be a little bit of a repair but nice hot water and clean tub three towels. When most places give you like two or one breakfast was amazing. You have a wonderful staff absolutely professional Bob you really I’ve done yourself this is my first time in Sweetwater and this will not be my last and if I’m going to stay anywhere, it’s definitely gonna be this place highly recommend Sweetwater inn I’m definitely telling my friends about this.

Anthony at the front desk was super polite and helpful. Had a minor issue with my room and they recorrected it immediately. Clean rooms. Will be back. Bar/grill at restaurant is great and the hotel has its own breakfast in the morning that was pretty good.

The door handle to our room was about to break off. The tub was dirty. Shower was hot but water flow weak. The Bar & Grill plays music that can be heard in our room. Its not too loud but still annoying.

I loved this inn. From the first email requesting a reservation until checkout the staff was so nice and accommodating. Even the groundskeeper, working in 100+ degrees, was friendly and helpful. His courtyard is a small oasis of colorful flowers and trees. The rooms are spacious and the AC perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. This is an old Texas motel undergoing a facelift and yet keeping its old nostalgic Texas charm. Give it a try to experience Texas of the old days.

Needs updating, but the price is low, pool is nice, Free hot breakfast, Spritz bar and grill located on property has good food as well.

Its a good place to stay. Front desk was super friendly. I would give this hotel a better review, but there was loud kids staying here. Made it hard to get sleep when I have to get up early for work. Sadley this will be my first and last stay here. On a good note, the room i stayed in was clean and the bed was super comfy. Even got a call from the front desk to see how the room was.

What an unexpected bargain especially on same days as Rattlesnake Roundup. Clean.neat.lots of hot water.good beds. What more could a person need?
I didn't get to finish my original review and unfortunately I've lost my notes with everybody's names. I'm sorry to all these good folks who did so much to insure my stay was good. I do remember very well Dawn.her mother.youngster Anthony and the OWNER himself. Met him in the little cafe part and enjoyed visiting with him. He was very open about buying the motel back when it was all run down and a den for dopers etc. He has invested much money and no telling how much of his time and energy into not only remodeling the facilities but in assembling a great crew of working people.and each one there was very cordial and helpful to me in every way. From a friendly smile to a freshly cooked hot breakfast and even a couple of sandwiches to go when they found out I was diabetic and wouldn't be able to have lunch until the evening.
If you need a reasonable priced place to spend a night or two I would give this a 5 star rating for the accomodations but a 10 star rating for his staff. Good people every one. My thanks to each of you that made my stay so comfortable. I have well over a million views on my reviews and I truly hope lots of people will see this and drop in for a stay with these good folks. First off at night the hotel property is full of loud drunks and police patrol the place. Loud and obnoxious bar activity. Hope you don't have to get up early cause the noise will keep you up. Rooms have roaches and the staff appears to be strung out. Manager is RUDE! If I could give zero stars I would.

Rooms have Roches in them and nobody did anything about it disgusting will never ever stay there again toilet was sinking and nothing done about it and then the bar also has roaches behind the bar and in the kitchen that's just nasty

I walked into the room and there were roaches on the counter running around as soon as I cut the light on. I went to the front desk right after I checked in and asked for a refund I would not be staying. I was told I would have to wait until the morning for that. The front desk clerk was very sweet and apologized. I'm sorry to post this review but that is unacceptable for a traveling nurse. I thought it would be a sweet place to stay because the reviews said they cook such a great breakfast. There's no way I could enjoy the breakfast knowing there were roaches in the room anyway. I hope they honor the refund. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

The rooms are clean, and there's plenty of room! The rates are great for long term stays! I absolutely plan to come back.

The office has continental breakfast AND hot breakfast, made to order. Eggs, sausage, burritos, and a make-your-own GIANT TEXAS SHAPED WAFFLE setup. My kids LOVE them! Hot coffee available around the clock!

I really would recommend this place if you're visiting the area.

I work for GRI. Have been stayin here at the motel since end of August. In November the staff at the motel really went over the call of service. I had to have emergency surgery. They Diane the cleaning lady took it on herself to care for me. Going to store doing laundry even picking me up 40 miles away in hospital and bringing me home to hotel. Im still nrecovering from surgery
This is Best Hhotel Ive ever stayed at as far as how caring most of staff is. They are a very friendly here and will go way beyond to make your stay memorable.

Stayed here for 5 weeks. Clean room. Pets welcome. The longer you stay the cheaper the weekly rate gets. Super friendly and helpful staff. Feels more like a little community of neighbors than a motel. All around a great experience.

GROSS! This is new management? ! We stayed 2 nights back in 8/2021 - the second day, I asked for a vacuum, we are in West Texas, on the bottom floor - but the crack under the outside door was big enough for a snake to come in too- which wouldn't have surprised me with all the bugs and spiders in our room! They finally came after almost an hour of waiting, barely got anything besides the main area- didn't get in the corners or under anything - Pictures are proof and were taken after "they Vacuumed"! I tried to reach out to the owner with no avail. The manager, who said they've had snakes come in, did refund one night but we left at midnight - the bugs were plentiful and I found a spider on the mattress that was too big for our comfort! The amount of dust in every corner and under everything is proof they're not cleaning! Broken outlet covers! I cannot believe this place has that high of reviews- so disappointed! Will never go back and have told everyone we know - run from here!

Super friendly staff. Front desk called my room once I got settled to make sure everything was ok. It's not a 4 star hotel, but cozy and quiet. Having the bar and grill next door was a huge plus! Karaoke was a blast!
