Switalski Eye Care, McKinney TX

I've been to a few optometrists and wasn't happy with any of them. This place is different and they took their time with me. Thorough explanations. Great service and staff!

Every visit to Switalski Eye Center has been great! The staff is amazing, very friendly and professional! Dr. Chen is very nice and thorough! They are very punctual as well. I highly recommend Switalski Eye Care Center!

From the moment I checked in, the staff members were very friendly, quick, and efficient. I did not wait at all and I never felt rushed or like I couldn’t speak up if I had any questions/concerns. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time visiting this office and I picked it based solely on reviews. They turned out to be absolutely correct. Meredith at the desk (who appears to run the joint) was exceptionally friendly and helpful and a delight interact with. Amanda, the tech (?), who worked with me was also an extremely pleasant person and went so far as to laugh at every single one of my jokes, in spite of their typical and utter lack of humor! Doc was great, quick but thorough, and answered all of my questions. Great staff, clean and inviting facility, and an all around great experience. As he says in the great American classic film, "I'll be back".

The front staff were lovely and so helpful. Dr. Chen was very nice and willing to answer all of our questions. Very happy we switched from America’s Best to their office.

Came for a way overdue Eyeglass Exam, it had been over 6 Years since my last exam. It was a great experience. The ladies at the front were amazing and super friendly. They made me feel welcome and helped find all of my benefits from my insurance. I did the Digital Prescription Scanner, The machine that gives a puff of air to your eyes, and the Behind the eye scanner, all three were quick, easy, and painless. After that, I was walked into the exam room to wait for the doctor to do the manual prescription fine tuning using the lens and the letter board. Doctor Chen was awesome as well, he explained everything and what the eye scans showed and answered some questions I had. We got it all dialed in and the end result was I was able to see 20-15, which is even better than 20-20. Overall it was a great experience! I would recommend this place to anyone needing any eye care needs. I can't wait to get my new glasses. Thanks guys!

I was a little bit nervous about trying a new optometrist because I LOVED my previous provider, but I had an incredible experience at Switalski Eye Care. The ladies in the front were super friendly and informative. Dr. Patel was just as friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this practice.

Switaski was actually there for my appointment months ago. Wasn't concerned with my vision or my concerns. His entire focus was everything my insurance didn't cover that would be out of pocket. Evidently I'm going to die of eye cancer and go blind from glaucoma because I wouldn't cough up cash to have tests done. Turns out these tests are covered under my medical plan, but Switaski is out of network. Scheduled a follow up in 6 months to have eyes checked and get new glasses in my new insurance year. Nope they turned me away. They didn't want to do the exam. They just want my cash to do an out of network medical procedure. Me, my kids, my players and our staff will not be receiving my recommendation for this. The girls at the front desk are very nice though.
