Sycamore Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, Fort Worth TX

I have been going to Sycamore Smiles for 2 years now. I could not have chosen a better dentist for my little girls. The staff is friendly and informative. They have a cute gaming area for the kiddos to play at while they wait. Speaking of wait time we rarely have an extended wait. We are often brought back within 10 minutes of checking in. The staff is very upfront with any out pocket expenses before your visit so there are never any surprises. If you haven’t stopped reading this review and haven’t booked already don’t wait any longer!

Changing my review due to bizarre diagnosis. My twins have been going for about 3 years. Never had a single cavity. Their last appointment I was told one of them had 3 cavities which I found bizarre. I asked to see the X-rays and they showed No cavities. My daughters now have a new dentist, new x rays, surprise surprise, No cavities! Be careful. They also will not let you go back with your minor children. Red flags.

First time here and my child’s experience was amazing. Everyone is very nice and friendly, from the girls in the front desk to the girls in the back. They made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable. They were very informative, and very helpful as well. A place I would definitely recommend for your little ones!

Sycamore Smiles, Office Of Dr. Warcup is the absolute best! We had our first visit today and I can say it was the easiest Dr’s visit I’ve ever had with my children. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a ‘Good-Morning’. Personally that’s already a 5 ️ review in itself. Then on top of it they sent everything to me last night (paperwork wise) which made it for a fast and effective morning today. Especially with children. My kids (ages 5&3) were then taken to the back, and were seen quickly. They also didn’t get a cleaning since they weren’t due. So I’m sure that’s why. Even so, they took x-rays and had seen them in such a manner that I’d never seen at another office before. All while knowing, as a parent anyways, it was done properly instead of recklessly. Afterwards they called me back to go over everything and while talking to him; Dr. Warcup was kind - short, sweet, and to the point in regards to their dental health. I’m so glad we came to him for a second opinion! I loved the way they went about every step. From beginning to end. Not only will we be back but I will most definitely recommended this office to anyone else who has children. Thank You Doctor & Team! Y’all are awesome!

Absolutely amazing customer service! So sweet and friendly! And the front office handled every single one of my questions amazingly! And then the hygienist Carole, and the Dentist Jesse? Were both were extremely informative, to the point, and made me feel normal and not like a bad mom for having so many issues! Super comforting environment and my son also had a ton of questions and the team answered them all and helped him feel at ease and independent when he went back to get his X-rays and exam!:) best experience ever! The whole team are rock stars!

This office does not allow parents to go back with their child. No accommodations are made for children with special needs in this situation either. Just be aware of their "policy".

My Baby girl River was happy with the staff and comfortable. She is only 4 years of age. I was glad to see the caring environment

Always a great experience! They are always fast and get you in and out. All the staff is great and gentle with the kids. The dentist is very knowledgeable!

It’s a 5 start place for sure but I only gave 4 stars because I’m not able to go to the back with my little ones and sometimes that scares me but overall this is a great place I felt the good vibes soon as I walked in from the girls at the front desk, very nice! We are new here in Fort Worth and have been looking for a great dentist for my boys and I think we have found our permanent dentist also the other lady that was going over the X-rays with me was so sweet and detailed about everything I needed and wanted to know. I think it was very professional for the doctor to personally come in speak and introduce herself… love this place already…. I know I had 4 stars at first but I had to give them 5 it’s really a great place also I didn’t have to wait long at all!

The staff was professional and courteous. The doctor was professional and easy with my child. We enjoyed the experience.

Quick wait in the lobby, really sweet hygienist and dentist was quick and friendly which was helpful with our very first dental appointment.

This cannot be stressed enough, do not let Dr. Warcup near your child. We had been going here for almost a decade, so when he took over the practice, I didn't think the caliber of doctor would be so dramatically different. He was rushed, gaslit all of my children telling them this didn't hurt, stop crying, etc.

I wasn't allowed in the room, should've been my first clue. My daughter and son both shared the same experience, and she was done first, so I didn't even know he was going through that too, until we left and he shared in the car.

I gave Dr. Warcup another chance, thinking my kids may have had an off day the first time with him. That was my biggest mistake.

I insisted being in the room this time, which he didn't like, but after what both my kids shared, in separate moments, I needed to make sure they were okay throughout the procedure.

He did the same thing, and more. I witnessed physical and verbal assault of my child, by a certified pediatric dentist. A few especially unreal traumatic moments: He looked at my child (not me, the parent) and said 'You cannot yell or scream like that in my office. I don't know what's allowed at home but that is not acceptable here. In fact, I don't think you should come back here anymore. '

He wasn't yelling, he was crying. And to say the feeling was mutual, about not coming back, was quite the understatement, and the only 4 words I spoke to that man as he got up and threw down his gloves to storm out of the room.

He was screaming because the numbness hadn't set in yet, mostly likely because Dr. Warcup didn't wait long enough after the injection. That, and the block to keep his mouth open was in a weird place and just wanted it moved, but he wouldn't take it out for my son to communicate that.

If it hadn't been mid-procedure I would've obviously gotten us out of there but his tooth was open. So all I can do now is help others avoid having this experience.

They are great! Always willing to work with you! My child has always has a good experience!
