Sylvan Learning of Harker Heights-Killeen

Sylvan Learning has been wonderful. My son has been consistently making progress. I love the whole-person approach given to my son. Helping him succeed in education but also showing him how it will help him in life is of great value.

A few months back I met with Que and he made it very clear how the program would work. My son is was reassessed by his teacher and is now reading on grade level!

All of the teachers here have worked vary hard to help each and every student. No matter the skill level or age range the they take their time to help everyone at their table to the best of their capabilities. This is the place to go if you are looking for people who a vary invested in your child and their learning. Also if you are a college student needing a little boost, don’t be afraid to ask for help. I am a junior in college and this has been one of the best things I could have done for my education.

My daughter has grown academically since attending this center! Keep up the good work with the kiddos!

Caisyn’s attitude towards school has changed since going to tutoring. He loves going and asks to go even on the days he doesn’t have it. I would definitely recommend Sylvan learning for your child.

My daughter has been attending this Sylvan location since March 28th 2023, Myself and her teachers have seen a tremendous amount of growth in such a short amount of time! My daughter loves attending, staff is amazing and friendly!

My son Uzziah has loved his experience at Sylvan so far. He is so much more excited about learning than he ever has been. It's great to see the excitement on his face when he masters a new skill.

Sylvan has helped my Son tremendously in reading. He was 2 grade levels behind and had 0 interest in reading. After a month his confidence built and was stopping at the book sections in stores looking for new books! We saw a noticeable improvement in schoolwork as well. The staff is all very friendly and always willing to help and answer any questions!

Our 1st grade child has been going here for a month and already can see such good improvements in her reading and sounding out words. We look forward to see her grow even more at Sylvan Learning. Definitely recommend this place to better your reading compression.

My kids have come so far since attending the past couple of months! In the beginning, they HATED sitting and attending to class. Now, they run inside and LOVE to learn. They LOVE Lynne so much (so do we) and Josh is a great manager as well! This is a great place of your kids need to bridge those gaps in schooling and education.

My son has been attending Sylvan since the end of November and I have seen his reading skills improve so much! As a teacher I knew that he wasn't getting the firm foundation he needed for reading and it was a struggle to work with him myself. I am so thankful for Sylvan because he is always happy after a session and he now calls himself a reader. The teachers at this center are wonderful and I have seen them interacting with Owen. They are always positive with him and they are able to get him to work without the frustration he was having when working with me. The center directors, Josh Saffron and Jeneisa Davis, are both very knowledgable and helpful. Whenever we have a meeting they go over his progress and ask us if we have any questions or concerns. I am truly grateful to to have this resource for my son and look forward to his continue growth.

My daughter’s confidence and reading have improved greatly since she started Sylvan two months ago. I was skeptical at first because of the price but Sylvan found the learning style my child needs and it’s working. Her grades at school are improved and I can even see the benefits in her math skills. Ms. Jeneisa is an excellent educator. Keep up the good work Sylvan!

Amazing staff and such a joy to around. My son was studying for the ASVAB with weekly study sessions (math & mechanics) and increased his ASVAB score by 50%. Thank you learning center!

It has been a year since my last review and I am not changing it. This place is a 5-star facility. Jeneisa and Josh ensured my child will achieve the the growth that can be seen in her report card in our local school. Her confidence has grown leap and bounce. Best choice and investment.
