Sylvan Rodriguez Park, Houston TX

Love the native plants out here. Seeing lots of prairie birds returning, and even some deer and coyotes.

Really nice place to work out but there is very little shade so take water and don't forget to bring snacks for the turtles

Decent, tranquil park. Small playground and walking trail. I run here in the mornings sometimes and finish with core workout in the circle stone monuments. Everytime I come here it seems like the restrooms are closed though. Picnic area also needs updating as benches and tables are worn down.

It is practically for walking since the park is small but walking is an excellent place.

Beautiful park with the best labyrinth! We come to pray and enjoy it often! Great walking trails for strollers or wheelchairs, too.

The park here is in terrible disrepair. It is also very dirty. It is in serious need of attention by whomever is supposed to be keeping up with it. The other places in this area are nice and peaceful. Interesting to walk around in. The trail is short.

My husband and I met at this park. It's a very special place that we both always felt has had a sacred energy to it, for us and everyone, that is until recently. If anyone knows the movie fern gully where they destroy all the natural habitat of wildlife and beauty in order for profit of man, this is exactly where it's at now. My husband and I haven't visited here in a long time because of it. It's a shame.
