Truck Stop TA reviews
38Bathrooms were clean in womens and i went to subway and amazing customer service from Kai he seriously i think the best sandwich and he took his time for each customer and he was pretty much working the whole subway on his own! You go Kai! Thank you for making this trucker wife’s day & my husband who travels all over the place it’s hard to find kind people like you!
I really liked the timely response of Manager. There was an issue with shower wait times and when brought to her attention she got showers cleaned and ready for use. Thank you so much! Will be sure to visit again.
It's getting pretty bad that you can't find a restaurant open anymore. It use to be that you could always find a decent meal at the truck stop. But now all you can find is fast food. I swear that it just seems like the Travel Centers of America just don't care anymore. That the drivers are nothing but a nuisance that needs to go away. The sad part is the driver made it what it is today.
Can't get help. Short and chubby lady named Renae is too lazy to move away from the register. Good luck getting help from her. I had to ask someone from the pizza hut department for help.
Did a 10 hour break here on a Saturday (06/12/21). I got here at 4 PM and there is tons of parking. I’ve gotten here before during the week and after 6 PM and it’s a hot mess. No one follows the parking space lines and it messes with the spacing between rows of parking. Country pride is closed indefinitely. Subway and Pizza Hut are open and the employees are doing their best to keep up. The TA staff is friendly. Showers are what they are. This whole truck stop needs to be revamped. It’s a dinosaur and it shows.
Employees at main building, when asked about a parking receipt responded rudely in informing me that I needed to go to the other side.as she kept saying she needed a break as she held her lower back. She never said, until asked, that I needed to go across the lot to the fuel building.even though there was a computer active up front with the parking program up and running in clear view.
This is the 2nd TA/Petro I've been to recently where the people seem to not like truckers or they don't like their job.well I'm sorry for the way they feel, but this is their job "Customer Service". If they don't like it.maybe they need to find a different profession
Place looks clean and decent compared to alot of other stops, but the employees attitude is poor and down right ignorant. The restaurant is a joke please seat yourself? No go in get your own drink make your own meal and so on and maybe just maybe your visit will be acceptable. Stand in line to cash out no clerk anywhere ask multiple employees that are stocking and they get rude and look just as confused as the customers waiting in line. Piss poor establishment.
They have a lot of truck parking which is 5* for me and my husband and the Country Pride restaurant was great as well. The reason I have to rate a 3* is the cleanliness of the bathrooms were poor. Out of 8 toilets I went to use, only one was decent enough for me to use in the evening time. However, when I used the bathroom the next morning (today) the toilets were clean but the walls and doors had not been wiped down.
Wish I could give negative stars. The salad bar was a JOKE, and the employee filling it was slow brought out one thing at a time, and really didn't care one way or another about filling up empty stuff. Eggs were frozen.
Out of half the stuff I tried to order. WOW! So disappointing
I love stopping at TA for my 10 hours reset. This TA has lots of Parking spots which is great for me but the bathrooms are so nasty it smells like dead cats.
They have pizzhut subway and country pride restaurant which is always a plus you can choose one to eat at!
Free parking isn't all the way in the back, clean restrooms and showers, and the day cook (Clark) served up a really great meal with an omelet and hash browns. Crystal is a really great server.
Restrooms are disgusting. They hardly clean. Not to mention the smell outside by the doors it smells like spoiled milk. I know truckers have to stop here cause it has parking and you take parking where ever you can get it but come on its no reason to not provide clean service. Worst TA I've been to.
This TA has the best friggin buffet of any I've been to in all 48 states. Lots of home cooking going on here. Trust me, this is not the usual Iron Skillet! Manager actually really cares, a nice difference.
Typical TA travel center. Nice staff. Outdated facilities but has a ton of parking. Not to far from outside Dallas
Good place to park is all I got to say, there shower system sucks and you can't use your recipt if u can't find your card is a pain
1am there was not any hot food no hot dogs, Subway was closed Country pride was close, I EXPECT T A to have something open for hot food.
Men's room was very shotty, no paper in the stalls, had to duck walk to three different stalls to find something to wipe my backside with.
Store employees and pizza hut employee rude, we're cussing at counter. Ignored me standing there and I finally had to be rude and demand to check out. This was TODAY 8/27/18. I highly recommend skipping and going to QT or Buckees instead. Also their prices are borderline criminal. Can you say gouging much!
Friendly cashiers and ample parking. They alao have showers, a game room (with a pool table), drivers lounge, a couple restaurants (Subway, Pizza Hut, Country Pride) as well as their own food choices off the rollers. They also have a lot of beverage options, which is awesome, because the majority of truck stops we go to don't have fountain Diet Mountain Dew and are sparse on other diet options.
The place was clean, including the restrooms which also had plenty of stalls.
Employees seem to be milling around pretending to work. The drink machines out of ice.coffee tasted stale. I didn't see any smiles.
