Taco Bell, Hondo TX

We live near Hondo and have now stopped going to this TB. Last Thursday evening, we went in (4 of us) and were met at counter by an employee who waved us away saying there were only 2 of them and it would be a long time before they could serve us as they were helping drive through first. Second time this has happened. Outside the doors is covered in bird feces. Nasty place with terible customer service.

** Update 2/16/23 After a great conversation with TB after my last review, we decided to give it another try. We were served immediately by a very pleasant employee. Our food was delivered quickly and everything was hot. We noticed the outside of the store had been cleaned up.
I am upgrading my review to 5 stars.

Previous review from two weeks ago. We have attempted to dine in here multiple times on different days and at different times. Every single time we are either told they can't serve us or they ignore us completely. This evening, I made eye contact with two different employees several times and they never acknowledged us. My husband even asked for service and they ignored him too. So we left and went to DQ where we were served promptly. Corporate needs to come in and clean house. We have never been treated so rudely. This is not the same management they had a few years ago. I just wanted tacos!

Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. It was clean, the customer service was great, and the food came out fast. Veronica N was a great cashier

Always fast on the goal, good employees listen looks can be deceiving there lol in a very respectful way! Tattoos and shaved heads got the biggest hearts and respect!

Ordered $50.00 bucks of food for the family and half of us ended up sick and the other half throwing up half the night. I knew something was wrong when I spent 50 bucks at taco bell to feed 4 people. Just disappointed.

Didn't get everything I ordered. Didn't get enough hot sauce, even tho I asked for more. Food is not as good as it used to be. Last few times food was blaa. Ordered the nacho fries as seen on tv. What I got was a bag of fries and some liquid cheese gunk. Not as shown on tv.

The level of customer service we received from Ignacio was incredible. An assett to this location.

Overall my experience here has been a good one. I normally only order around late morning/early afternoon and almost exclusively through the app. I had a problem for the first time last night and it was when I used the drive thru without using the app. I have saved in my favourites a Cheese Quesadilla with extra creamy jalapeño sauce - I have always had the surcharge added for the extra and the sauce has always been added directly onto the quesadilla. Since mid-November I have ordered this item from this Hondo location 43 times when I look through my app history.

Last night - 4/17/22 - I was told during my order at the drive thru that they have never added the extra sauce directly onto the quesadilla and that it can only be bought in a side cup. I knew this to be inaccurate. I let it go because my mother-in-law wanted to make a scene to the poor employee just doing his job and repeating what the manager told him to say. I simply have decided that if I continue to order from this Taco Bell location, it will be through the App only and only during the first shift in the day.

Honestly, this has really soured me to TB. If you change your policy on sauces that is fine, but don't lie and tell me that it has never been the way I have been receiving the item.

This would have been a 5 star rating because the food was great for a Taco Bell. Deducting 1 star for price.since when did 2 taco locos, a burrito and a drink cost $14! I can go into a sit down restaurant eat off of real plates and be waited on for that price! Deducting 2nd star because they were stingie with their taco sauce! Only gave me 2 packets for 3 items. I just paid $14 dollars for the meal, the least they could do is give me a handful.

Tonight these two guys were holding it down. Took awhile to get our food but with only 1 cook and 1 cashier it's expected. Food was good cashier was super nice

You would think that these are all about the same but this is definitely the cleanest and best tasting Taco bell

Great employees, food, location and clean! One of the best (if not the best) Taco Bells I've been to!

Very BAD SERVICE! Getting upset for ordering and complaining to us about wanting to go home.

Unfortunately, this store has gone downhill. Service not good, employees talking about lack of staff, and the food was not up to Taco Bell standards. Taco shells stale, beans in burritos cold.

Can't say I've ever really had a bad experience here. Drive through has never taken extremely long and the associates have always been polite

I've always loved Taco Bell and I can't even be mad at him even though they were out of beans their food was still delicious.
