It's unfortunate how I was treated today and the unprofessionalism of the staff on duty. They need to bring hard and dedication to this place, not smear the name of Taco Cabana. If not for their DM's own work ethic and listening ear, I would have a hard time swallowing my visit.

I went through the drive thru yesterday, they have a long line, but I was in the window in less than 5 minutes, good and fast service.

Slightly better quality than Taco Bell. Can't go wrong with the margaritas to effectively adult. From past check, this place doesn't have dine in. I've just been using the drive thru.

I went there last night, thru the drive thru and the lady that took my order said my $50 bill "was not going thru" whatever that means. I think what she meant was that she thought it was fake, which it wasn't, cause I used it at another Taco Cabanna location with no problem. She didn't even know enough English to communicate this with me properly. Why do they have someone, who needs to communicate with customers, speaks little English. You need to know English if you live in the US especially with English speaking customers. If I moved to Mexico I would need to lean Spanish. Also, she needs to get use to breaking larger bills, just because people usually pay with smaller bills doesnt mean that a larger bill is fake. Learn math lady. Anyway this is not the first time I had issues with this particular location on Shadow Mountain. Before this when I ordered the beyond meat nachos last year, they always charged me for the upgraded version of what I ordered without asking me, and charging me more. Most fast food restaurants ask you for clarification if you want the regular or extra super size or whatever they call it they never assume your order like these people do. It didn't just happen once it happened every time I ordered those nachos about 3 times or more till I gave up with that order. When I spoke to management he said it was my fault for not specifying. No, because I don't memorize the menu, that's their job to know the menu not mine, it's their job to ask to clarify the order. Oh one last thing this applies to all Taco Cabannas they need to update their menus, there are things they have that isn't on the drive thru menu.

Taco Cabana is an institution. Neither Tex or Mex.but all about the flamingos. I desperately miss their chicken flameante, rice, and beans. One thing I didn't ask for was their salsas and I hope they still have that roasted salsa. Thats my jam.

This location is got the best employees. Every one is so friendly, helpful and makes sure you are enjoying your meal. I love Taco Cabana!

Customer service in this building is the worst I've seen food tasted terrible it took Em an hour and 30 minutes for 2 plates that I ordered I just couldn't believe it manager just sitting in the office not doing nothing very bad service dirty lobby filthy bathrooms will never go again

It's not fully operational in the sense that there are no self serve condiments or coffee. Food is great but the menus were not rotating (electronic) so the menu appears limited. It's time to get things back to normal.

Terrible experience. Went through the drive through. I was missing part of my order. I called and asked for a refund and I spoke with a lady who said the only thing I could do was to go back and get the rest of my order. I was working and could not go back. I called the number on my receipt and was told I would be refunded. Days later. A manager by the name of Vicente Delgado called and again tried to get me to go back and get my missing food. I refused. He said he would refund my card. Another week has past and still no refund. I tried contacting Mr Delgado and was told he was training in San Antonio and was not available to take my call. Terrible service.

Food is delicious, but the ordering here has become very annoying. You can order through the app, they are always 20 minutes late at the least. The orders are not accurate, I don't mind driving 15 minutes to get there, but having to go back because they missed the main dish of the order is not cool. So, by the time I go back so they can rectify the rest of the meal is soggy. So check your order before leaving, or better yet, just eat there

Went for lunch, dine-in, they didn't have napkins, forks available in the lobby. The salsa bar was closed. The fajitas combo was not what was expected because it didn't come with beans and rice like the plate plus chips and queso but it cost more than the pate. The guys didn't offer any salsas when picking up the order, I had to ask for some. The Dr Pepper soda had no syrup. Poor experience. Not going back.

It seems like the quality is dropping the margaritas were pretty plain and don’t try the leprechaun one that was disgusting. My wife’s tacos were good but my steak Quesadilla didn’t have very much meat and the salsa wasn’t in it.

Never come inside and eat at Taco Cabana, it feels like they prioritize the drive thru than the customers inside the restaurant. I've been waiting for my food for over half an hour, the employees don't show any urgency. The food is good but just don't come inside.

I am changing my review, because this place has not updated it's operation hours. This is poor customer service and laziness on the business of not updating its time and keeping the customer updated on changes.

This hasn't been the first and probably won't be the last where employees are closing an hour early before they're actually supposed to close.
Says they close at 12 a.m but yet at 11, no one answers the drive thru and doors are locked. Even though they are clearly employees inside.
If hours are updated they should have a sign stating correct hours and have it updated on Google.
Very unprofessional.

Needs better customer service. Took 10 minutes to place an order when the place was almost empty. Rice was cold and didn't taste fresh. We cleaned our own table which was dirty. So 3 stars is me being generous.

I give the TC at 5688 N. Mesa ZERO STARS! 11/30/21, I ordered a steak quesadilla through the drive thru and when I arrived home it was burned and cold. I will never return to this location and I will always be sure to check my orders before leaving any drive thru.
