Taco Cabana, El Paso TX

Never coming back. First off I ordered three combos and they forgot to give me one of them. Second, the food was very mid and to top it off, 4-6 hours later, my wife, my son, and I were sick to our stomachs. Had to call in sick from food poisoning the next day. 100% sure it was food poisoning from here.

They did not give me my food as I asked for it, the sauces were missing and the guacamole that I paid for additionally was not thrown out, but they did charge for it.

First time actually going in to this location. (Been here through drive through) First impression.terrible. The staff was rude, we walked in and no one said anything ie. “hi how are you”, “we’ll be right with you. ” Etc.when I was ordering the young woman (Esther I believe is the name I don’t know but that’s the name on the receipt) she was smirking at the other employee when I was speaking Spanish to her, acted like she couldn’t hear us, AND got our order wrong. When headed to the dining room it was not clean at all, floors and tables were sticky, debris was on the floor and the walls are caked with food as of no one has wiped them down in ages. I didn’t go to the restroom but I could only imagine the conditions it would be in if the dining room was “presented” the way it was. This place needs a serious revamp/maybe an inspection. As for the food I’m not a big fan of anything except the quesadilla and churros, and maybe the floutas. I tried something new and it’s Tex mex at best and the flavor wasn’t there at all. Don’t waste your time here if you’re looking for hearty flavorful Mexican food.

Worst experience I've had at Taco Cabana. The Hondo Pass location is really bad. The cashier had a bad attitude and the food was cold and stale. Never returning to this location.

I hadn't been to this particular location in years, but they were pretty attentive today.

Well I returned home astonished and first thing I did is run to the reviews on this establishment bc I just couldn’t believe my experience. First of all if you have these many bad reviews presently and also some time ago something had to have changed. This establishment gives the definition of mediocre and apathy a text book example of those two words. Please staff even if you don’t like your job do it for your self worth bc you are the ones representing Taco Cabana. Celebrating a birthday and stopped by for a quick bite. Had to wait for a long time in hopes to surprise my significant other. Oh boy the enchilada was cold and bland, cracking. The beans tasted burned. Only positive thing was the tacos taste was good however it fell apart whereas had to eat it with a fork. Please staff I understand you are stuck with already made ingredients shipped to you but if you know something is not great put your love and cook it with better care so it will come out half descent. Ok retuning home and I sure hope “Owner” you change something bc overall it’s reflecting you more than anybody.

Family member flew in and wanted to stop. A/C must not of been working correctly. Place was HOT.
Wife and I ordered salads. No lettuce or cabbage in salad. Son ordered Quesadilla, wasn't crispy at all.

I ordered taco cabana for delivery. I got the (2) taco plate (comes with 2 tacos with meat of your choice, refried beans/black beans and rice) and 1 soft taco (beef). Overall i’d rate it okay. The tacos were very juicy and the meat was good.the rice was very seasoned but cold and not fresh. The lettuce was also not the best but it was still pretty okay.

About 5 people dining in, every single table was dirty, floor was dirty, and food sucked. Lady in charge don't know her head from her ace. Looks like a dive in a deserted town.

Food was ok. Nachos didn’t come with jalapeños, had to ask for them. Also no salsa at all in the salsa bar. It’s extremely loud from the kitchen noise and the stupid Covid shields (seriously it’s been 3 years, get rid of them) you can’t hear the cashier, which also makes the dining area extremely loud.

Overall it was ok.the staff was nice enough but my food was thrown together without care, so very messy, I had to eat a buritto with an actual fork and knife, and went there for informal meeting.at first because the inside restaurant was not busy at all, the atmosphere was pleasant and little to no noise level, but then a worker came to clean up several messy tables and pulled a very earth- shattering, noisy giant wheeled trash can that felt like it made the ground rumble. Absolutely, nothing could be heard over the moving apparatus. Annoying to say the least.

The drive thru stayed busy nonstop during two hour in-house visit. I have only had drive through experience just recently prior to actually eatting inside. Unfortunately, my drive thru order was incorrect and once again aesthetics of their food presentation is not their forte.

If mediocre is what you crave for fairly inexpensive price THEN this is the place to fill that desire.

Today went to taco cabana for a family meal and margaritas with side of street tacos! Excellent customer service with Mark! Very mannered and had a little humor. Food was fresh and delicious! I'll be going back again.

Too much cumin! They always over do it to their rice and beans thinking thats gonna make it more authentic

Was really good. Best location, other locations not as good, worth going out of your way to come to this location and not the one close to I10 west of downtown.

Order curbside pickup through the app. Get there and in the parking spot for curbside, and the app says call when there, so I did! You know what this mofo said? He said come in and get it. I vote to replace him with a robot. At least the robot would have an excuse to be standing behind the counter doing nothing. Poor work ethic but still expects a paycheck. No more TC for me till they learn how to work!

Food was mediocre. Dinning area was a little dirty with tables and overflowing trash. Was not impressed with the Cabana sampler. The tortillas did appear to be fresh. Otherwise. I would not recommend the place. Sorry

Fast food tacos. Nice place for a quick margarita and taco. The only reason they get two stars is it's mediocre. Bathroom needs work. No more margarita specials no more live music on their patios. The patios used to be nice offering misters and fans. It's a far cry from it's glory days but a quick margarita place so can't complain too much. Step it back up taco cabana especially with your prices going up.

I was there to order food for a family of four,
I made my order today around 400pm a lady,
name patrisha it says on the recite.
She shorted my order.
Two orders, are missing. I Fed my kids, and me and me wife made something to eat at home for ourselves.
I live in chaparral NM.
I tryed to call them,
no answer, there answering service packed up.
If you order, make shure, they have your order right. Be for leaveing, Because they dont pick up the phone. Answering service dose for them. This is not how to handle a customer.
Very unprofesional.
Im very disappointed how the customer is treated in such a way. I left my number, so they could call me back.

They used to boil their potatoes but now they fry them, I don't like it. Salsa wasn't like normal either. Won't be back to waste my money here. Mind you, it is 8am, everything seems dirty when it should be spotless and ready for customers.
