Taco Palenque North 10th, McAllen TX

It seems unsafe walking into the restaurant when the cars are wrapped around the drive thru. It is hard to park and only one way in and out

Extremely inefficient drive thru setup during late night (10pm) rush.it seemed like there were only two dudes working in the entire place.

I agree with the previous comment, this location’s quality has started to go downhill. Last night I waited in line for about 40 min for 2 caldo de res (beef soup) and all I received was broth and beef. No carrots, green beans, corn, or rice. I also didn’t get any cilantro or onions on the side. I don’t mind the wait, I just expect my order to be made right. It’s sad because the quality used to be outstanding.

Order placed 7: 52 pm Slow service it is under construction more than 40 minutes since we are in the line 30 min since we paid and still no food update 8: 28 and no food 8: 30 we got our food update they gave us the wrong order we just opened the tacos and it wasn’t what we ordered so we just threw our money to the trash and wasted more than an hour of our life for nothing

This restaurant used to have great prices and food. It is unfortunate that either the economy, or the restaurant becoming more corporate changed my positive opinion about it. If you want to avoid overpriced meals with not enough food and a boring dated ambiance please do not come to this location.

The male server took down our order incorrectly and then left for the day. When we got our order, it was not complete. The restaurant was under construction and bare minimum was in the small space provided for customers. Not a very good experience and we may pass on Taco Palenque next time.

San Juan TX Taco Palenque I Live 5mins Away. Super Bad Service. Cashier is like frustrated. The Fajita doesn't Taste Fresh at all. Egg Rancheros ask for Over Medium they all extremely over cook. Tortillas Don't taste fresh. I rather go all the way to Trenton or North 10th (The Best). All I can Say I Taco Palenque. But No No For San Juan

This location has progressively worsened over time.i waited 30 minutes for a chicken burrito, i got my order and it was half of the size of the regular sized burrito i regularly get served.this place is not consistent at all and they raised prices recently. If i pay for my food then i expect the entire service.on top of that, my tortilla was so hard, as if it was sitting in cold air for a good while.i simply gave it to the birds.the management clearly or the staff does not care about what they do. Its just a fast job for them.they always include fajita in my chicken burrito when i specify not to.cross contamination is absolutely gross and it is not allowed in any restaurant. It takes two minutes to clean a grill and im sure there is not a small one in that place. I do not recommend this location or this business.

Once again they got my order wrong! Asked for tacos matamoros and get home to ham and egg tacos. This Is why I usually drive the one that's further away.

Although they are remodeling right now the service was quick and the food was just as good as always. They had a small dining area carefully screened off from where the work is taking place. Worked out well.

Long wait time at the drive thru between 30-40 min. It was late at night all other restaurants were closed, but there weren’t that many cars. Maybe 7 in front of me.

Great food but charro beans tasted like canned beans yhat have been dressed up. And the flour tortillas are like cardboard!

Friendly staff, guy at the cashier super friendly and polite.explained the menu to me since I am not Mexican.

The building is under construction, the food terrible not to mention the manager is girl she doesn't listen she ignores you she has no patience, we have 17 years coming over to this place always good food and service. I recommend for you all to wait after the reconstruction, no wonder people were walking out the restaurant, believe me you are going to be disappointed. Us we are going back after the construction is over, they are taking 3 to 4 months, by the the way the manager name is Veronica the route.

I am so sick and tired of their customer service. The lack of attention to their job is just so disturbing and this is the last time I go to this location. Quite frankly I'm becoming upset at the whole chain as a whole. Every time I've gone for the past 3/4 times I give them the benefit of the doubt that they will be able to attend to the basic request and comply with what was ordered. I always have to call or let them know they forgot this or that or got my order wrong. I understand they are busy and maybe short staffed but that's not something I, as a consumer, should have to pay for. And for the money that is charged I would assumed a bit more of courteousy would be throwned to us but no these employees think we are shaming, insulting or plain out hate them for not doing their job, being so rude and non attentive. I can say they have earned this 1 star. Never going back to them.
