Tacos La Bala reviews
22This place used to be one of the best, but now after the COVID year, they have dropped on quality ingredients and increased prices. The fajita doesn't taste like skirt steak and is chewy, the amount of meats you get and quality across the board has dropped so they can make more money. It will backfire as it always does when businesses do this. If they read this, change your strategy and go back to quality or you will lose your customers. I will not go back for a while if ever, last few times have been really bad.
Best tacos I've had in Houston. The salsa is really spicy and tasty. The area is a kinda rough and the interior is plain but the food is delicious
IF you want to try something different than tex-mex and more real mexican food This is the place. I had a sope, tostada, and gordita ofcourse whith a mexican coca cola. They also have aguas frescas
The place is a small casual place. There is a Order and a Pick up window because they dont go to your table. The Ingredients are fresh and delicious. My favorite is the "torta la barda" i highly recommend it, made of different ingredients. Service is fast and your food is prepared fast too. It does get busy at lunch time i got there before 12: 45 a.m and didn't have to make line but after 1pm there was a line but they are fast so you dont wait long. Highly recommended will keep coming back. Not many places like this one so try it out.
So, this place use to be the spot. But lately there going down on there quality. Just had some fajita tacos. And they were so greasy like if they were pastor tacos. Also the green sauce is not even spicy anymore. Had this happend multiple time now.
Very delicious food. The staff are all very nice and friendly. I would recommended the beef fajita tacos, the ham torta, and the horchata.
I soooo LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place the food & staff are GRRRRREAT. The food is ALWAYS fresh.
Great Mexican food! Tons of flavor and they're salsa's one of the best when it comes to restraunt quality. Gets packed quick though so probably head in when you don't have anywhere to be at.
They have great barbacoa tacos they never make it home. If you order to go they only take 15 minutes tops when ordering 15 different food items. Very very tastey
I try to pay with my app I di it before and today the lady say no we don't do that #badservice she don't know how use the system?
A great little Mexican restaurant hidden in the shopping center great food at great price amazing food U I should have said
1st and last time there, horrible food. Ordered tounge tacos the tounge seemed like something else it was chewy and hard. If anyone knows tounge meat is supposed to be melt in your mouth kinda feeling which is why I like it. The salsa was semmed like it had been watered down. Had a stomach ache after eating there. Had great expectations since its sister store has amazing food. Will not recomend or will be returning.
Love the salsa, I’ve been coming here since I was little and I can’t get enough of the fajita tortas
This casual ice cream shop with a walk up counter and indoor seating is in the heart of Asiantown. Love the Hong Kong waffles and great service. Each order is made fresh and served immediately. The attentive manager is often there during peak hours making sure everyone is happy. This is my favorite dessert place right now.
The original La Bala. Authentic Mexican food, reasonable prices and quick and friendly service. A great stop to go during your lunch break. Make sure you check out the bakery a few doors down after your lunch.
Extremely good tacos, burritos, and plates with a wide selection of traditional meats. My favorite is barbacoa. The green sauce in the bottle is good. The green sauce in the bowl on the table is too spicy for this white guy. Also, hold the cilantro. I'm assuming it's a fairly authentic place.
Simple tacos are good but don't order the charro beans or anything with cotija cheese. I've gotten sick the last 3 times I ate here and I'm pretty sure it was the beans and the cotija cheese. They tasted off.
I can't people call this place "authenctic" they just slap an american cheese and bacon slice on my torta i'm extremely mad.waiting time was terrible. The "fresh beverages" is just powered, artifical flavor drinks. I saw a lady who came before me and she still hasnt gotten her order. This place is unorganized and cooks don't communicated to one another, they dont care.
Best authentic Mexican quesadilla in Houston if not the world. Get the carne asada. Their salsa verde is to die for.
This is a good place for a quick stop and go. Good favor on the food and the restroom was clean!
Fajita tacos and torts are real good but the tortilla is very plain but other than that pretty good and close to authentic in Houston
