Now I was left stranded on Thanksgiving day off a highway with damage. So maybe being so quick should be the reason to never go here again. They are too rushed. Never again!
This was the first time going to a Take 5. The employees were very friendly and they know what they are doing. They were very efficient. Highly recommend.

I waited an hour for an inspection and then had to leave because of another appointment so I never got my inspection done. They only had 2 people working. So much for 5 minutes. They took approximately 25 minutes for each car. So if you have time to wait Take 5 is the perfect place
Today I was in your shop at the 11th St, and Shepherd and the guys they didn’t want to take care of my inspection. They said that they weren’t doing inspection today. I was very disappointed. And they give me a bad attitude and I just to love this place but no more
Did a great job. I bought a used car and brought to them for an oil change. After inspecting my car they told me the oil looked good and didn’t need changing. They were honest and didn’t charge me for unnecessary work. Will continue to use them in the future.
I would like to address the disastrous oil change that occurred with my car on 11/2/23 at the Take 5 located at 1818 N Shepherd Dr in Houston, Texas. The service was fine with them also replacing my oil filter and air filter. After the service I drove my 5 year old daughter to her swimming lesson which is only 5.7 miles away and the disaster occurred. My car started smelling like something was burning and one of the dash lights came on. I was almost to her swimming lesson location so I made it there and called my husband. I told him what was going on and he looked under the car and could visibly see a puddle of oil leaking out. He contacted Take 5 and they directed him to the nearest location of another Take 5. He proceeded there and all of the dash lights began alerting him of low oil pressure. He got to the Take 5 and they told him "they wouldn't touch it" and said he had to go back to the location where they did the oil change. At this point, my vehicle was registering zero oil. My husband requested this Take 5 to at least fill up his oil so he could make it back to the original location and they obliged this request. My husband thankfully made it back to the original location with the low oil lights again alerting him as he finally arrived. The manager Terrance Bratton, was called and they supposedly "fixed" the problem which was apparently a poorly replaced oil filter. The manager then stated he would clean under the hood due too all of the oil spraying around everything under the hood. My husband brought the car back for this cleaning on Saturday 11/4/23 in the morning. Since this has all occurred, my car continues to leak oil all over my garage and driveway. I have since moved it out to the street to prevent more oil stains on my driveway. Additionally, it still smells as if it is burning every time while driving and the service engine light has come on. This business is responsible for this and they have done little to nothing to rectify the situation.
Furthermore, I called your customer service phone number on Friday, November 3rd and have not received any sort of response. I would expect an immediate response after such a disastrous situation.
They left the caps off my tires after checking the tire pressure. Left screws off my skid plate after changing oil resulting in damage and me having to purchase/repair. I found the atmosphere unfriendly. I normally do not write reviews but received a text requesting that I do so. Unfortunately it’s not a good one. You go to these places trusting the staff will be professional and engaged in their jobs, this is not the case here. I paid close to $200 for everything they did and will never go back. How can I trust that the rest of the work was done properly? Did they change the oil filter? Did they replace the drainage bolt properly? These are the questions I am left with.
I went in a few days ago and a gentleman by the name of Terrance really helped me out a lot. I don’t know nothing about nothing with cars it was my first oil change ever! Thanks!
I’ve been there several times and it’s all been good but I was there at 40 min this time I was the first one in line I don’t know what took so long.
Professional. It was cold, so I stayed in my car. Which was great. Service guy was super nice, showed me my air filter was in bad shape, so got a new one. Took about 20 minutes, start to finish, which includes top off of fluids. I think it was a very reasonable fee and I will go back again.
Quickly and fast is how I can describe services. Never have had a problem with my cars. Very professional atmosphere as well.
I never review places. These guys just deserve it. So much consistency. So convenient. Such great service. Keep it up guys! You’ll have my business for the rest for my life.
